Ngorongoro is a must visit - My husband and I went on a day trip to Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania with Simba Adventures. We have seen a lot of documentaries on National Geo about Ngorongoro but they do not do justice. Standing on the rim and looking into the beautiful views of the extinct caldera is awesome. We saw a leopard in the trees as we were going down to the crater floor then a herd of elephants eating vegetation close to the track. At the floor we encountered lions lying next to the road next to a buffalo carcass. There were zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, rhinos and birds too. We had our boxed lunch by the crater lake in a very scenic area. Later in the afternoon we passed by Mto wa Mbu where we bought some curios and paintings from a group of local painters. We had a perfect day with our guide Abbas from Simba Adventures who guided perfectly the whole day and we recommend him.

Amazing and memorable trip - I had come to Arusha for business and decided that Icould not go back home without visiting the world famous and heritage site of ngorongoro. My hosts organized with Mr Simba who had another we shared the jeep with and have also become my new friends. I was picked from Four points Arusha at 7.30 am and our gfantastic guide drove us to Ngorongoro. There was beautiful scenery along the way to Ngorongoro and we even stopped and spoke with a group of young Maasai warriors who we also took photos with. No words can aptly describe the beauty of Ngorongoro, I have never seen anything else that is so spectacular. There are abundant animals in the crater and we had a our packed lunch at a favourite picnic site next to a lake in the crater. In this one day I saw a wide array of wild animals which surpassed my expectations. I plan to return in December with my wife and children and if possible celebrate Christmas or new year in Tanzania and i will definitely use this company to organize and execute my trip
