This exceptional ten-day wildebeest migration safari is specifically designed for the calving season, which typically occurs from December to March. The migration begins in the Southern Serengeti region of Ndutu, with the herds moving in pursuit of fresher grazing fields. While we have a good understanding of the wildebeest’s general whereabouts throughout the year, their exact location largely depends on the rainfall patterns. The migration extends around the Serengeti and into our 10-day Migration Calving safari, featuring luxury lodges and fully-inclusive tented camps.
