  Our driver will pick you up from your accommodation and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport to catch a flight to Arusha in late afternoon or early in the morning after breakfast, we then begin our two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the journey, we pass by beautiful Maasai villages and the open plain that become synonymous with images of Tanzania.

Once in Tarangire, you will begin your game drive across the endless golden savannah that grazes along the Tarangire River.
A picnic lunch with a spectacular view of the Tarangire River is a great way to suck it all in, you will need to have a sharp eye to keep your lunch away from the local monkeys.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area, located in the northern part of Tanzania, is renowned for its enormous, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and the habitat of the ‘big 5’ game animals (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino). Every year, large groups of wildebeests and zebras call its plains their migration route. The semi-nomadic Maisa tribe’s livestock co-inhabitate with the wildlife. Several hominin fossils, which date back to prehistoric times, have been discovered in the Olduvai Gorge.

Tarangire National Park, renowned for being an outstanding destination for bird watching, also hosts a wide variety of wildlife, especially during the dry season. At this time, the Tarangire River is the only water source in the vicinity. This park is also known for its picturesque landscape filled with numerous striking baobab trees.

Get to know Lake Manyara National Park, famed not just for its breathtaking location, but also its unique tree-climbing lions and the large population of elephants it was set up to protect. The lake shores, decked with pink flamingo, are a haven for more than 400 species of birds.
