Highlights

Arusha town to Central Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After a 7 a.m. breakfast, you’ll be picked up at 8 a.m. from your accommodation for a 6-hour (335km) drive to the southern part of Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro gate. You’ll begin your game drive and explore the Southern/Central/Seronera Valley; the Maasai call it “Serengit,” meaning the land of endless plains. The Southern Zone features vast plains covered with savannah grasslands, providing ample grazing areas year-round for wildlife such as wildebeest, zebra, Coke’s hartebeest, waterbuck, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelle, and impala. In Seronera Valley, the acacia vegetation forms group-like structures known as kopjes, offering excellent vantage points for predators to spot their prey and serving as refuges for hyrax, pythons, and reptiles like lizards. African leopards are commonly seen. You’ll have lunch at a picnic site and continue your game drive until the evening, when you’ll head to Seronera campsite for dinner and overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Serengeti National Park - Depart with a lunch box for a half-day game drive in Serengeti National Park until the afternoon. Then proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying an en route game drive. Arrive at Ngorongoro and check in at Simba Campsite for dinner and overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater - On the plains, elephants are plentiful, with matriarch herds increasing in certain areas. Moru Kopjes rise from the sweeping savannah like ships on a golden-green sea. In addition to their unique flora, including weird candelabra trees and dazzling ephemeral flowers, the fauna includes rare black rhinos. The central area is so large that wildlife climb and play on the gong rock and admire Maasai cave paintings of elephants, shields, and abstract patterns. The kopjes also provide excellent vantage points for predators to spot prey.

Departure Ngorongoro To Arusha Town

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - At 7:00 a.m., enjoy breakfast at leisure. At 9:00 a.m., descend the crater rim for a half-day tour until 3:00 p.m., with a picnic lunch. Tanzania’s ‘secret garden’ contains a hidden world of teeming wildlife. At 7:00 p.m., drive back to Arusha town.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Ngorongoro National Park is the only park in Tanzania that offers a year-round view of the Big Five, possibly all in a single day of visiting. The park is also known for the Maasai families living in circular homesteads called bomas. Ngorongoro National Park is an excellent site to understand early human evolution, pioneered by Mary and Louis Leakey. Other wildlife you might see include wildebeest, gazelle, golden jackal, bat-eared fox, hippopotamus, East African wild dog, African leopard, ungulates, waterbucks, buffalo, eland, and serval. Absent wildlife include giraffe, oribi, topi, spotted hyena, African leopard, cheetah, and impala, which are rarely seen in the park.

The best experience ever with travel Africa safari agency - Very satisfied with the 5-day safari with the Travel Africa team and a big thank you to our English speaking guide 'Asad' for his professionalism and quality work. He was very kind and attentive. Thanks to him, we could see the big 5, we visited the 3 national parks of Tanzania, the area of the parks was huge. We had the chance to see the cheetah , lions, elephants % very close, monkeys everywhere, giraffes, wildebeest migration (as well as several animals). The car was well equipped, there was also water and drinks and music. We got to know each other on the safari, we were like family. The atmosphere was amazing and we were able to take beautiful photos and videos to keep track of our beautiful memories in Tanzania. Asad showed us around the village of Maasai, we were able to discover the way of life in the village, we talked with the village chief and we danced with them. It was a unique experience. Not to mention that our guide offered us the experience of tasting the fruit of the baobab, it was a gift from him. It was so good. A first successful experience thanks to our Asad guide and the good work of the Travel team Africa, I recommend 100 VA. The food was good and fresh, prepared every day by our Tanzanian chef. Lodges and aunts are fine.

Exceptional first safari experience! - Luttiba has made my first safari experience as a female solo traveler amazing! From beginning to the end of the safari, all went smoothly and above expectations. Luttiba was fun and very experienced driver. He made the experience more fun because of his good energy and knowledge of both animals and nature. I felt safe the entire tour. He was accomodating and felt like we really took the time we wanted to see each animal. We were able to see 4 of the big 5. All food that were provided were good and there were plenty of bathroom breaks. Binoculars and water were also provided. I highly recommend as a tour guide since I felt well taken care of.

Incredible Safari tour - I booked a very last minute 3 day safari to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Met incredible people from around the world in the jeep we would call home for the next few days. A truly once-in-a-lifetime experience, compounded by the fact that our tour guide Asad was lovely, had excellent English and a sharp sense of humour. I loved it so much I extended another day. Driving through the Serengeti at sunset with giraffes and zebras surrounding us will be a memory I will never forget. An elephant visited our campsite one night and stayed for around an hour, which was surreal. Countless animals seen throughout and apparently we broke the record for highest number of lions seen in one day. I didn’t know anyone at the start of the trip and by the end we felt like family. Thank you to Asad and the other organisers - this was an unequivocally amazing trip.

omar is the best guide - The tour with Omar was incredible. Omar really knows everything about animals and is an incredibly nice person and very humorous. He took very, very good care of us. He even offered us to wake him up at night when we go to the bathroom in case we were afraid. He has a good contact with locals and tries to show a lot of Tanzania and culture outside of the tour. With him you feel very safe and you can rely on him 1000%. He has given us a very secure feeling . he knows all the spots where you can see the animals. even the rare animals. thanks to Omar we have seen everything in three days. Omar is worth visiting this country and these national parks again. Thank you Omar

Awesome Experience - Our safari experience was top-notch. From the time Omary picked up us from our hotel until the time he dropped us off, we will received five star service. He has such good energy that I knew we would enjoy our trip from the start. We saw the big five (rhinos, elephants, leopards, buffalos, and lions). He made sure he got as close to the animal as safety would allow so we could get amazing views and photographs. Safety was Omary's number one priority. He was careful to make sure he drove in a safe manner to avoid accidents and breakdowns. While some other tourist were receiving box lunches, we received catered meals everyday with silverware and a variety of beverages. The food was delicious. Omary was very knowledge of the people, culture, and government, and he shared numerous stories and tidbits about the country and way of living.

I wish I should have choosed different - The first accommodation (Serengeti) was a disaster. No shower, no lights, everything dirty… We did the safari with other person, who had another place to sleep and he didn’t offered to carry him to his hotel (the only thing he said is that he should make a claim and we’ll just see…The second camping (Ngorongoro) was way better. The driver exchanged 3 words a day on the safari and on dinners. 0 talkative. I would not recommend it. His son, incharged of the cooking was great. He was good worker and comprehensive.
