Best experience ever! Highly recommend. We fell in love with Tanzania and will definitely come back - Tanzania totally blew us away, and Meijo made it all happen. Everything just flowed: the lodges were amazing, all the transfers were super smooth, and we never had to stress about a thing. But the real highlight? Our guide, Michael. He was awesome. So knowledgeable, super friendly, and just clearly loves what he does. Every game drive felt like a new adventure, one minute we’re tracking lions, the next we’re surrounded by elephants. Unreal. You can tell Meijo really cares about the people, the land, and doing things the right way. This trip wasn’t just a vacation. It was something we’ll never forget.

Trip of a lifetime - Went on a mother daughter safari trip and had an unforgettable experience. Locally owned and operated I would recommend Meijo to anyone. Our guide Herman was a hawk! He could spot wildlife that I could barely see with binoculars. He was so knowledgeable and kind and made our trip 100 times better. We enjoyed every aspect of this trip from the accommodations to the food to the experience, there’s not a thing I would change.

We went on Safari for our honeymoon and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very first moment I contacted Meijo Safari they have been incredibly quick to respond and very professional.
Our guide Michael was super, his knowledge of the wildlife, geography and ability to find us the most incredible wildlife made it an incredible experience. We couldn’t have been happier with Michael and he even surprised us at the end of our honeymoon with a bottle of bubbles by a fire looking out over the Serengeti on the last night!
All of the accommodation was wonderful, super friendly and accommodating staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Meijo to anyone looking for a top safari experience and out of the this world wildlife encounters!

Honeymoon Safari - once in a life time - We are just returning from our honeymoon trip. The end of the trip was a 4 day safari, with Michael. Wow - what an experience.
Despite not having a long time in each place due to our flights - we managed to tick off the big 5, get incredibly close to the wildlife and even saw a cheetah hunt just metres from the car.
We could not be happier with the professionalism, knowledge and experience that Michael shared with us.
We would highly recommend booking this to anyone who wants a world class safari.

Incredible Honeymoon Safari! - We had the most amazing honeymoon exploring the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara. The landscapes and wildlife were unforgettable, but what truly made the experience special were the people we met.
A huge thank you to our guide, Herman – professional, kind, always available, and incredibly knowledgeable about animals. His driving skills and passion made every moment unforgettable.
A perfect trip we’ll never forget. Highly recommended!

10/10 Experience - Summary: Amazing experience all round.
Details:
Everything from the start of contacting Meijo went very smooth. Marselina, our first point of contact provided us with detailed itineraries , complete with a day-by-day plan, tips, and images of where we would stay. She also could tailor our plan to our needs and was easy to contact throughout.
Safari: Our guide Herman picked us up from the airport and right away you could sense the friendliness and professionalism. During the safari he was very knowledgeable, kind, and also an excellent driver. It was great to be guided by him. The food that was provided was also excellent, nice warm and healthy meals. I would frequently go for second rounds and the portions were more than enough.
Accommodation: the accommodation was also great. Both staying in a larger lodge, and also in tents in the middle of Serengeti. Facilities were good, food was excellent, everyone was very kind.

Amazing Safari Experience - What an Amazing 4 day safari with Meijo Safari’s. It was above and beyond what we expected for our first time in Tanzania. From the booking to the tour, everything was well planned. Firstly, a massive thank you to Micheal who we were in constant communication with prior and throughout booking. Secondly, a huge thank you to the director of the company Daudi, who came to welcome us on the first day of the Safari. Lastly, we want to say a massive thank you to Herman, who was our guide for the 4 days. His knowledge of every animal was amazing, his sight to find animals hidden in trees allowed us to see a variety of animals, he ensured that we all saw every animal that we wanted to see, nothing was too much. Overall It was an experience of a lifetime!
