We got an unforgettable experience with Safari Soles! 100% recommend! - This was an amazing and once in a life time experience for us with Safari Tours, more than what we have imagined and expected. We enjoyed very much the tour, the accommodation and even the food! Innocent is definitely the best guide, considerate, patient and knowledgeable! We’re impressed by what he showed us, taught us about the nature, the wildlife and the culture. He can always spot far away animals and his good driving made our trip smooth and unforgettable. Boniface who helped us arrange this 5-day Safari always put our satisfaction as priority. This trip was fully customized and everything exceeded our expectations. The transition drivers are all very friendly and considerate, always flexible to accommodate our needs. We enjoyed Moshi town and the hot springs as well 😄 We would never forget the safari experience with Safari Soles. 100% recommend!

Amazing first time safari - This wIt was our first safari ever. We booked it as a 5-day family trip for the New Year holidays. Our experience with Safari Soles was very positive from the first contact to the moment we said goodbye at the airport in Arusha, or when the boys dropped us off at our hotel in Zanzibar. Our guide Jonathan was wonderful. He knows the parks and the animals that live in them very well. From the moment we left the airport in the North Serengeti to the end we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We enjoyed seeing the animals roaming freely in their natural environment without restrictions. Lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, zebras, ostriches, various birds, impalas...they were just a few meters away from us...crazy beautiful. We even saw live how a cheetah caught an imapala...crazy. The accommodations were also well chosen and very nice (we took the Luxury package).as our first safari ever and we

7 day Safari in Tanzania - We did a 7 day Safari that included Tarangire, Serengeti x 3, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. It was a lifetime experience. Everything was AMAZING. First and most important I want to thank Elias, our driver and guide. He was awesome in every sense. Warm, funny, educational and very experienced. He made our Safari unforgettable! The hotels and lodges were great, the food delicious and the staff was helpful and friendly. The parks are very well prepared with nice picnic sites and clean washrooms. 100% recommended.

AMAZING Adventure with Top Notch Guides - We just returned from a multi-day safari trip to Tanzania. Safari Soles was an amazing company to work with throughout the entire experience. Communication was exceptional while preparing for the trip. Upon arrival, each day was carefully planned and communicated to us. The accommodations and meals are off the charts at a very reasonable price. Happiness George built a custom itinerary that met our travel plans perfectly. Our guides Jonathan and Baltazar were exceptional. They were knowledgeable, personable, and super fun to tour with. Perhaps most importantly they know the areas and all of the people in the national parks, villages, and towns you will encounter. When you run into a bump in the road and a flat tire - and you will because everyone does, these guys have the connections and know how to get you back on the road and on schedule. I give Safari Soles my highest recommendation. They made our trip of a lifetime truly fun, educational, safe, and easy.

Looking for the right company for a Safari? You came to the right place! - Me and my Friend went on a private 6 day Budget Camping & Lodge Safari and it was truly incredible. Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater were our destinations and I would do exactly the same trip any time again. Our guide Innocent and chef Dennis, aka „stomache engineer“ were truly incredible. Innocent‘s knowledge of animals and the nationals park ensured us not just seeing all of the big five but also learning a lot about animals and Tanzania itself. Dennis was waking up very early in the morning to make sure we are having incredible breakfast, lunch and dinner - everything selfmade! While other companies were having premade lunchboxes for lunch, we were having at least three different kinds if food. From beginning to end this trip was a once in a lifetime experience and thinking back about all the memories makes me smile.

Amazing safari trip with Safari Soles and guide Simon (safari monster)! - Unforgettable 6 day safari with Safari Soles tours and amazing guide Simon aka “The Safari Monster”! It was a true safari: bumpy rides, the thrill of seeking for the animals (with succes: the big five, the crossing of the +1000 wildbeest over the river and plenty more!), lodges surrounded with all kinds of animals, good local food, fun and also informative stories about the animals and the Reserves, a lot of laughter with our guide and ofcourse Hakuna Matata. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way we are beyond happy that we chose Safari Soles tours and that we had Simon as our guide. He made it a trip to never forget with his knowledge of the reserves and good eye site you won’t miss a thing! Tanzania has a special place in our hearts.

Excellent 5 day safari - We had an excellent 5 day safari with Safari Soles: Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro. The discussions (in English) before and during the safari were clear, fluid and without surprises regarding the services and prices. The Mid-Range formula allows an excellent safari with high quality, very pleasant lodges, with excellent food throughout the safari. The jeeps are very comfortable with a well-stocked refrigerator. Our guide Estomii was particularly kind, attentive and interesting in his explanations about the parks but also about Tanzania. It's great to have good conversations when there's a few hours drive between the parks! His safari experience and excellent knowledge of the parks and animals was evident and he allowed us to see the big 5, up close, several leopards and rhinos, cheetahs and many other species! Safari soles has around twenty employees and is a completely local company, which helps the country's economy, all the locals we met were adorable and we felt safe at all times! We recommend wholeheartedly, including the walking safari and the night safari!

Life-changing! - It’s difficult for me to put into words just how amazing this trip was! At the booking stage, Bryson was quick to respond, adapted the itinerary to include all the things we wanted to do, arranged pick ups and drop offs for different days and times as we weren’t all arriving on the same flight. Once we arrived, we had an amazing first day in Arusha with Chief who went out of his way to show us places off the beaten track. The actual safari was unreal, all of the hotels and lodges were stunning, the jeep was well maintained and our guide, first day Christian and then Oscar for the rest of the trip, was very knowledgeable. He also adapted to the needs of our small children (age 5 and 6) and above all took great care of them, and us. The last day we did a short trek in the foothills of Kilimanjaro and then went to a hot springs, which was incredible! I can’t recommend Safari Soles enough!

An incredible safari! - We visited Tanzania in October 2023 as a group of 2 couples, and had a private safari arranged and conducted by Safari Soles. From the initial point of contact last year Bryson was very responsive to our emails and WhatsApps and tailored a safari with an itinerary, accommodations and budget that suited us. We paid a deposit by bank transfer, receipt of which was promptly confirmed. Unfortunately, we didn't hear a great deal from Bryson from that point onwards - all contact was initiated by us such as to confirm arrangements to be collected from the airport on arrival and to pay our balance. Bryson did promptly respond but I feel these things should have been confirmed prior to our trip and unprompted rather than being chased a couple of days before departure. Safari Soles arranged for one of their drivers, Chief, to collect us from Kilimanjaro airport and he was waiting for us on arrival. During the drive to Arusha where we were spending our first 2 nights Chief advised us that we weren't going to the hotel we had agreed upon and instead took us to Arusha Farmhouse. This was further out of town and much smaller than the hotel we'd expected but was brand new with great facilities and fabulous staff although the food needs some drastic improvement. Chief contacted us the next morning to offer us a complimentary city tour but as we had only arrived in the early hours, we weren't up for a full day tour. Instead, we arranged for him to collect us, take us to the Safari Soles office to pay our balance and to a few places we wanted to see. On arrival at the office Bryson wasn't around, we paid our balance and were then told that the guide we had pre-requested and who Bryson had agreed to wouldn't be taking us on safari. Not a huge deal but this combined with the last-minute change of accommodation without prior communication left us feeling disappointed and with little confidence that the rest of the trip would go according to plan. Chief then took us shopping and to change some money, to the Tanzanite Experience and at our request joined us for lunch. He is such a character and we never stopped laughing, we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. We spent the rest of the day relaxing at the Farmhouse and after a disappointing dinner got some rest prior to embarking on our safari bright and early the next morning. After breakfast our guide Estomih arrived promptly in a well-equipped jeep and we were soon on our way. Our first day was spent in Tarangire, where we saw leopards, countless lions, cheetahs and cubs and had the most incredible experience with elephants eating all around our jeep. It was amazing and so peaceful being at such close proximity to these incredible animals and was one of the highlights of my trip. We then headed to Farm of Dreams where we spent the first 2 nights (this had been a change of itinerary requested by Bryson prior to departing as the accommodation we had requested wasn’t available in the order we would have liked). The accommodation was really nice, well-equipped, super staff and really nice food. It was my husband’s birthday and the cake and singing and dancing put on by the staff was fabulous, the chef was hilarious. Our next day was a full day at Lake Manyara – we initially request half a day here but due to the change in itinerary were allocated a full day and I wouldn’t repeat the experience, it was our least favourite park and truthfully felt like a long, wasted day. The next day we headed to the Serengeti where we spent 2 days and nights, touring Northern and Central Serengeti. We enjoyed every second, we saw so many cats, we had an incredible cheetah experience when she brought her kill to the shade of our jeep to enjoy her lunch. And we were treated to a viewing of a black rhino at the end of second day, as my favourite animal and being so endangered and shy it was unexpected and truly was the icing on the cake. Our accommodation here was Embalakai Authentic Camp and it was incredible, really nice tents with great amenities, it was much higher end than we expected and the staff, food and setting were awesome. It was an adrenaline fuelled experience lying in your (super-comfy) bed in your tent at night and hearing lions, hyena, hippos and who knows what else all around you. We absolutely loved it there and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Our last day was disappointingly rushed – our guide wasn’t aware this was the day we were catching our departing flight to Zanzibar after spending time in the Ngorongoro Crater (this was meant to be on day 2 but shuffled around due to the itinerary change). We tried to get a later onward flight to no avail and our wonderful guide started the day super early with both breakfast and lunch on the go so that we could get as much time as possible at the crater but it was nothing short of a whistlestop tour. It was beautiful there and we would so have loved to have spent more time enjoying the incredible wildlife and landscapes but sadly we couldn’t this time. Bryson met us at the airport to apologise for the mix up and kindly offered us a discount on a future trip should we go back – we would love to and hope to take him up on the offer. My constructive criticism would be to really improve on communication. And to ensure that any changes such as accommodation are communicated and agreed upon in advance. And last but my no means least – our wonderful guide Estomih whose knowledge of his country and its wildlife was staggering, we loved learning from him and spending time with him, he found everything on our wish list for us and so much more (even if only Estomih saw the serval cat!) The lion and cheetah cubs, the cheetah and it’s kill, the elephants and their rumbling, sooooo many lions and of course the rhino. And not forgetting the monkeys for Simon! So many laughs and wonderful memories, from the bottom of our hearts, Asante Sana Estomih, Twende!!!
