Unforgettable experience which remains forever due to the great organization, a unique guide+top chef! - From the beginning we felt super comfortable on the safari. This is especially thanks to our guide Mali. He has given us a unique time all round with a lot of expertise on the animal and plant world, care for the group and a good sense of where we go best.
Our food during the safari was equally excellent. We owe this to our chef Richard, who prepared super delicious, freshly cooked food. Our expectations were absolutely exceeded by the variety of animals we saw👍🏼. The second day we all saw Big 5. Since we also paid attention to the small animals and plants and received a lot of information from Mali, the safari was always exciting and never boring.
The group feeling was super familiar. The evenings ended with a glass of wine, good conversations and card games. Again, we would like to emphasize positively that our guide also enriched the round in the evening with further interesting information about the country and people.

It was so wonderfull - I embarked on an unforgettable journey with Dancing Simba Safaris from June 28th to July 3rd, 2024. My adventure spanned the diverse landscapes of Tarangire National Park, with its towering baobab trees and vast herds of elephants. The serene beauty of Lake Manyara offered a glimpse of playful baboons silhouetted against the setting sun, their chatter echoing through the trees. Long-necked giraffes stretched their elegant forms to feed on leaves high in the canopy. The awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, left me breathless. But it was the majestic Serengeti National Park that truly stole the show. Here, a seemingly endless sea of wild animals across the vast savanna, punctuated by the calls of gazelles and the watchful gaze of lions. The air vibrated with a symphony of bird calls.
With Dancing Simba's expert guides and comfortable accommodations, our diverse group from all corners of the globe (America, Africa - me from Ethiopia, Europe - Norway, Asia - China, and Australia) had an unforgettable safari experience. The shared thrill of encountering Tanzania's incredible wildlife fostered a sense of camaraderie that transcended cultural differences. Our safari jeep became a microcosm of the world, with six of us sharing stories and laughter. I, from Ethiopia, learned a lot from my fellows, while the thrill of spotting a pride of lions sparked lively discussions with our fellow travelers from Norway, America, and Australia.
A special thanks goes to Mr. David John, who ensured everything was perfectly organized, and to our incredible guide, Mr. Joseph. His knowledge and passion for Tanzanian wildlife made the experience truly unforgettable. He expertly explained the tour and the fascinating species of animals we encountered, bringing the wonders of the African savanna to life. This trip was more than just a good time; it was a transformative experience that deepened my appreciation for nature's wonders. From the vast plains teeming with life to the awe-inspiring heights of Kilimanjaro, where I challenged myself with a one-day hike to Mandara Hut, with a special thanks to my incredible guide who expertly paced me throughout the climb, Tanzania offered an unforgettable adventure.
Tanzania has cast its spell, and I know it won't be my last visit. Next time, I will be returning with my family for an unforgettable adventure. Together, we will:
• Conquer the mighty Kilimanjaro, reaching the summit of Uhuru Peak.
• Witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of the Great Migration.
• Relax and soak up the beauty of Zanzibar's beaches.

Our independent experience - At the start of our trip we we offered a change of going to the Serengeti for 2 nights instead 1 night and other night at Maneyra lake. We gladly accepted.
Our guide was Lorenz - it was stated he was new with company. He was absolutely horrible - rude, mean, not caring about anything. We left always last on safari and came back among first ones. The evening photostop at Serengeti didn't happen. He provided minimum knowledge and didn't care, only thing he cleared out the way that everybody could hear was tipping policy. Our next guides Elisha and Owen were excellent, 10/10.
Logistics - according to itinerary we were supposed to have water, wine, beer and soft drinks included.
Beer was available for 2.5 days. Wine twice throughout evening. No soft drinks. Only water was available throughout the tour.
Transportation -
I assume that we were offered to change the itinerary in order to fill the Jeep completely. Which would be ok, if there weren't people with very different itineraries at some point. For example there were 2 Spanish ladies who were supposed to stay in North Serengeti and do the "great migration". But we're told that they are staying with us in our lodge. Also told they will move to the North Serengeti next day. Next day they were told the entrance bridge to the northern lodge collapsed and it's not possible.
Well, no more comment on that...
Later on they were refunded for not going there.
So I would highly recommend not to mix people of different itineraries to same jeep in order to squeeze more juice out of it, unless the itineraries are similar.
Food was excellent throughout the tour, our cook was absolutely amazing.
Accommodation was also great.
Did the company listened to clients feedback?
Absolutely yes.
Would I recommend Dancing Simba? Well, if you are ok with bit of a chaos and disorganisation yes. But company. Listens to feedback and adjust. And therefore, for the money what they offer is still recommendable.
We heard Lorenz is no longer working with Dancing Simba.
If it wasn't for the guide and missing on drinks that were part of itinerary, I would rate 5/5.
