Incredible experience and guide! - Had a most amazing time on this tour, with a very incredible guide. The experience was incredible, with some of the most magical moments and encounters with wildlife (and really, they were wild, not ANYTHING like a zoo) that i have ever had. The company was very organised, helpful, and timely, and our guide was the best we had over the several tours we did during our trip to Tanzania. Meru Slopes really stood out for me, and the safari experience is not one that I will every forget.

A wonderful safari - We had an amazing time during our safari! Due to Mohamed we were able to find many animals throughout the park, even a leopard, cheetas and rhinos. He was very kind to always stop or drive back and forth when we wanted to take pictures. Also the food during the tour was great! We both have allergies (celiac disease and milk allergy) and our chef Rashid was happy to provide alternatives for us so we could enjoy the typical African food without worry. We had a great time and would definitely recommend joining this Safari.

Amazing 6 day budget safari - We have just come back from a fabulous 6 day lodge and tent safari to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serenegti and Ngrongoro Crater with Florian as our driver and Saleem as our cook. We were amazed at Florian's ability to always find all the animals and bird life we were looking for and for his knowledge and driving expertise. We got to see all of the big five including a leopard up a tree eating its latest kill and thoroughly enjoyed Saleem's meals. Thanks to Jerome at Merus Slopes who handled our enquiries and tailored the trip for us. Highly recommend Meru Slopes to others seeking the same experience

A very well organized Company you can trust and count on if you have any problems. - We cannot thank enough Gift for being so nice with us all the time, always accomodating our extra requests. When we've arrived to Dar Es Salaam our luggage was lost and we had our safari booked for the day after. Meru Slope helped us in buying last minute the most important items we were missing and off we went. We had a time of our lives, our driver and guide Robert was super as we have seen so many beatiful animals (all the big 5 and we completed the 9 and ugly 5 too) Everything was way behind our expectations , nothing was feeling budget. The food was always delicious too and our chef Gideon even managed in improvizing a birthday party for me on the first night ! Last but not least they even helped us in contacting the lost&found office, and finally retrieved our luggage and took us to Arusha Airport to collect it.
Definitely we highly recommend Meru Slope for your experience in Tanzania.

Book the tour. You won’t regret it. - The most amazing safari tour. We saw them all, the big five, the beautiful five, the ugly five and so much more. We were on the six days small group trip covering Tarangiri, Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and lake Manyara. Serengeti and Ngorongoro being the highlights. We stayed to nights in lodge and tre nights camping which was perfect to get the real Safari feeling. The biggest asanta sana to our guide Lobulu and our chef Dulla who made sure bothe the game drives and everything else was perfect. I can highly recommend Maru Slopes as tour operator.

Really good safari company - Perfectly good and very affordable. Our guide Mr Jacob was incredibly knowledgeable about all the animals and birdlife and Mr Abdullah prepared very good food for us. We stayed in a tent two nights and in a lodge one night. Although the package meant four days safari, two days are in and out, we can only recommend the company. Mr Jerome kept track of bookings and fixed everything for us, really professionally.

An unforgettable experience - I booked a 6 day safari, which included three nights in a tent, and a one day trek to the Materuni waterfall directly with Meru Slopes and I can only express an extremely positive opinion.
The organization was impeccable, with easy and clear communication with Gift, who was always helpful and reliable.
Our exceptional guide Robert, with his 12 years of experience, and Buga, the cook, made the safari really special. Both took care of every need with great professionalism.
The experience was truly unforgettable, full of emotions and unique moments.
We also had the opportunity to visit a Maasai village, an experience I highly recommend.
Nixon, who accompanied me to the waterfall trek and the "hot springs" was also extremely helpful and friendly.
Punctuality and customer care were constant throughout the trip.
Small tip for those who will participate in a safari: bring a torch, toilet paper and a sheet bag.
I recommend, even for solo travelers, no doubt Meru Slopes for any adventure or attraction in the Arusha region.

Experience of a lifetime - What an amazing experience safari in Tanzania with Meru Slopes. We did 6 days safari to Tarengire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara National park.
From arrival at the airport to getting back to the airport. Meru Slopes organised it all very well. From arriving to departing, everything without problem and worry for us.
The 6 days itself were perfect. Nice car with all the amenities they say it has. Comfy seats and great views. We went in the Low season (november) and got the "luck" that we did the safari with just 3 people.
Our driver Nuru was kind, helpfull and very knowledgeable about the animals and knew a lot of spots where to find them. Which result in seeing a lot of animals in the game drives we had. And to see the big 5.
He wanted to give us the best possible experience. Has Nuru would say "Hakuna Matata, we have time and chance to see the animals.
During this trip we also had a chef travelling with us (they told us this only happens on a Budget safari so think this is a very big plus having every meal fresh food) We had the honour to have chef Mushi he had to deal with a gluten and Lactose intolerance but did this perfectly. The food was delicious and every meal something else or different but so that we could eat together. It felt great not to have to worry and he made us fully enjoy.
Nickson was also with us to finish soon his Training and doing his own safaries. All 3 people from Meru Slopes did everything in their power to make us happy and satisfied.
So 1000% we will recommend Meru Slopes to friends and Family and hopefully in the future will have the pleasure to come back. An unforgetable experience for the rest of our life.

More than amazing!!!! - What a great experience this trip was. Not only the beautiful parks and the animals but also the organization. They arranged everything from start to finish. The food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was really very good. Everything is freshly prepared. Even the bread is baked fresh! With lunch you get a lunch box with most tours. An extensive lunch is made for you here and everything goes in pans. Complete for the cook Yohane! Ask if you can get him on the tour. Then the guide Nuru. Fantastic!!! He provides the best experience. Spot everything even at a great distance. Makes sure you can see the animals at close range. We have been allowed to see everything, hunting, leopard, cheetahs, eating lion .. great. Camping exciting but just doing..unique experience. Also ask for him when you go on Safari..excited, know what, will do anything for you to make it unforgettable. LOVE IT!!!
