Experience of a lifetime - What an amazing experience safari in Tanzania with Meru Slopes. We did 6 days safari to Tarengire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara National park.
From arrival at the airport to getting back to the airport. Meru Slopes organised it all very well. From arriving to departing, everything without problem and worry for us.
The 6 days itself were perfect. Nice car with all the amenities they say it has. Comfy seats and great views. We went in the Low season (november) and got the "luck" that we did the safari with just 3 people.
Our driver Nuru was kind, helpfull and very knowledgeable about the animals and knew a lot of spots where to find them. Which result in seeing a lot of animals in the game drives we had. And to see the big 5.
He wanted to give us the best possible experience. Has Nuru would say "Hakuna Matata, we have time and chance to see the animals.
During this trip we also had a chef travelling with us (they told us this only happens on a Budget safari so think this is a very big plus having every meal fresh food) We had the honour to have chef Mushi he had to deal with a gluten and Lactose intolerance but did this perfectly. The food was delicious and every meal something else or different but so that we could eat together. It felt great not to have to worry and he made us fully enjoy.
Nickson was also with us to finish soon his Training and doing his own safaries. All 3 people from Meru Slopes did everything in their power to make us happy and satisfied.
So 1000% we will recommend Meru Slopes to friends and Family and hopefully in the future will have the pleasure to come back. An unforgetable experience for the rest of our life.

More than amazing!!!! - What a great experience this trip was. Not only the beautiful parks and the animals but also the organization. They arranged everything from start to finish. The food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was really very good. Everything is freshly prepared. Even the bread is baked fresh! With lunch you get a lunch box with most tours. An extensive lunch is made for you here and everything goes in pans. Complete for the cook Yohane! Ask if you can get him on the tour. Then the guide Nuru. Fantastic!!! He provides the best experience. Spot everything even at a great distance. Makes sure you can see the animals at close range. We have been allowed to see everything, hunting, leopard, cheetahs, eating lion .. great. Camping exciting but just doing..unique experience. Also ask for him when you go on Safari..excited, know what, will do anything for you to make it unforgettable. LOVE IT!!!

Great safari experience - We had a great 6 day safari. Camping was an experience to remember. It was fun and exciting to see and hear the wild animals from the tent. Thanks to our excellent guide Robbert we have seen the Big 5, he knew many fun facts about the animals. Moshi took care of the delicious food every day with great enthusiasm. Communication with Kelvin was also very pleasant. I 100% recommend booking your safari here.

Amazing experience! - Amazing experience! transfer to and from the airport with the very funny Fidelis. The six-day safari with the chef Gadi and the guide Nuru, who is a very skilled and very knowledgeable guide, as well as being a beautiful person! Meru slopes highly recommended, lower prices than average but very high level services for an unforgettable experience! (especially if you are lucky enough to have Nuru and Gadi). I will recommend it to everyone who wants to go on a safari in Tanzania.

Exceptional - My father and I joined the 6 day budget group safari with Meru Slopes Tours in October. It included visits to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We slept 3 nights in a hotel/lodge and 3 nights in a tent.
The trip with Meru Slopes was extremely well organized. We saw everything we hoped to see, the program was compact but we never felt rushed. Our guide/driver Nuru was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw all the Big Five as well as the great migration in the Serengeti. Our cook Gadi kept us well fed throughout the 6 days with hot meals three times a day (except for one lunch when we had a lunch box). All meals were very tasty - mostly local Tanzanian cuisine (my dad especially liked the soups and cooked vegetables).
Both the Fanaka Lodge and the Arusha Tourist Inn were simple but comfortable accommodations. Sleeping in tents in Serengeti and Ngorongoro was also comfortable. I personally enjoyed it more than staying in a fenced luxury lodge. We saw elephants and zebras roaming around the campsite.
Overall the tour exceeded my expectations and I would recommend Meru Slopes Tours to anyone who has game viewing as a priority. Plus, it's a local business.

Top experience & company - This organisation deserves all stars!
Our guide/driver Mohamed (Moody for friends) was so well-connected that we were always informed about where the action was taking place. We’ve been so lucky to see the big 5, including lions hunting a buffalo etc.
The chef (Rashidi) was preparing nice meals across the days taking into account dietary restrictions.
Communication with Gift before the trip was easy, straightforward and transparant. The trip itself was beyond great.

Choose Meru Slope Tours without a doubt! - Meru Slopes Tours exceeded our expectations, I can recommend this company with a calm heart!
I guess, like everybody else, we were slightly sceptic and worried, but from the very beginning until the very end we felt in good hands. The communication with Almachius was excellent - he is very responsive, quick to react, adapt and adjust the program according to our individual needs. Not to forget his extreme patience answering all our questions and positivity! 😊 Amazing service! 🙌
Our greeting in the airport in the middle of the night was very smooth, we were safely accompanied to the hotel door and overall every second it felt structured and well organized throughout the whole trip. They have a lot of experience!
Lobulu was the best driver for our private tour with so many individual requests, we managed to spot even rear animals - he was very proffesional, attentive and with an excellent mood! Hakuna matata! 😁
Sleeping arrangements in budget camping were very well organized, sleeping bags clean and matresses were surprisingly comfy! Be prepared for colder night in Simba camping (near Ngorongoro), it's in the higher altitude, bring warm clothes. Don't expect hot shower in the budget camping option and you'll be fine! ☺️
Our chef is worth separate mention - the food during the Safari was better than in two different restaurants that we've tried in Arusha! It's simple, freshly made, tasty, creative! No stomach problems, only happy bellies 😊

We had an incredible experience with Meru Slops! The entire safari was well-organized, with simple but comfortable and always clean accommodations.
Our guide, Robert, was excellent—his knowledge and expertise made every moment special as he skillfully led us through the safari.
A special thanks to Almachius, who was always available and made the booking process smooth and easy, ensuring everything went perfectly.
Also, a big shout-out to Gadi, our chef, who did an amazing job preparing delicious meals throughout the trip.
