Wonderful Safari Experience - Highly Recommended! - Wonderful Safari Experience - Highly Recommended! We had an incredible experience with Meru Slops! The entire safari was well-organized, with simple but comfortable and always clean accommodations. Our guide, Robert, was excellent—his knowledge and expertise made every moment special as he skillfully led us through the safari. A special thanks to Almachius, who was always available and made the booking process smooth and easy, ensuring everything went perfectly. Also, a big shout-out to Gadi, our chef, who did an amazing job preparing delicious meals throughout the trip. I highly recommend Meru Slopes for anyone looking for a memorable safari adventure! 7 day camping safari - Fantastic safari adventure! We did a 7 day camping safari with Meru Slopes and had an incredible time. So nice to be so looked after from airport transfers to all meals provided and comfortable accommodation, everything was great! Our guide Douglas made sure we got up close to wildlife and was a very experienced guide. Our Chef Yohani cooked so much delicious food and made sure all dietary requirements were catered for. The camping was a very special experience and we were so lucky to have a great group. We had such a fun time, thankyou!

Unique Safari Experience- more than we expected!! - It was the first time we did safari and we both enjoyed it to the fullest, it was an experience we will never forget!! We did the 7 day Safari tour including Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire National Park. A lovely couple from Spain and Croatia joined us, so we were 4 people inside one car for the first day. Later an American Girl joined us aswell and we had the funniest time all together. We could be so close to the wildlife, seeing a big variety of the animals (including Leopards, cheetahs, lots of elefants and giraffes, and many more!) We especially want to thank Lobulu our Guide for his extraordinary guiding, his expertise, his patience and of course for always showing us much more than we expected! He told us so many things about the animals, the culture of the Maasai, lots of information on the Nationalparks and about his experiences through the years. We couldn’t have imagined a better guide for this safari!! Also a big thanks to Rashid (our chef cook) for this whole time - he made sure we had the best food all the time! He even made sure I got a glutenfree menu every day!! That was a big relief for me as a celiac! So thank you so much again! The accommodations were different every day! As we booked a camping tour- we expected to sleep in a tent every day, so it was to our pleasure that we even slept in a Lodge Camping for two days in Fanake Camping, where we had an own bathroom and even AC. The other nights we slept in serengeti National Park inside a public campsite- well I would say this was the most adventurous experience I ever had. We slept in the middle of the wilderness between all the animals- you could hear all the noises of the animals at night- which was scary but also exciting. The bathrooms there were not that good to be honest, there was no light and no hot water- we basically showered with our head lamp. Still Lobulu our guide made sure we always felt safe! The next night we spent in Ngorongoro at a campsite at the rim, this was absolutely amazing! The campsite was really good, although it was public. We splent in between a big group of Zebras, watched the sunset- it was like in a Movie! But make sure you bring warm clothes because the nights can get really really cold!! All in all we would totally recommend going on Safari with Meru Slopes Tours, we would definitely come back any time!! So don‘t miss that experience Greats Daniel & Jana

Meru Slopes went above and beyond! - If we could give more than 5 stars we would. We did a 6-day trip visiting Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Manyara. We had an absolutely outstanding safari experience. From the very beginning to the very end of our trip Meru Slopes and their kind staff took great care of us. We got to enjoy a great amount of varying landscapes, nature, and wildlife. We felt very lucky and thankful to have seen so much wildlife including Zebras, elephants, giraffes, Cheetahs, and Lions. We felt safe during the whole trip even when we were far out on the savanna as the staff took great care of us and helped with any questions we would have along the way. Our driver and guide, Lobulu, was absolutely OUTSTANDING. We could not have had a better guide, and during the trip he also became a friend. He was very knowledgable about the nature and wildlife, fun, and very kind and patient to try and accommodate everyone’s individual needs on the trip. As expected far out in nature, unexpected hiccups may occur, and we had several punctured tires (the roads are very rough), which can be very stressful for a driver. However, Lobulu would handle the situations flawlessly every single time and still maintain a great spirit. Equally, our chef, Rashid, was not only an amazing chef that accommodated everyone’s individual needs (including vegetarians, allergies etc.) but he was also very kind. We looked forward to every single meal Rashid would cook and we really enjoyed trying various tasty African dishes he would prepare. The rest of Meru Slopes staff we interacted with, whether that being drivers to and from the airport or staff at the hotel, were also kind. A few tips to future travellers to make the safari as smooth as possible: pack light for the safari days (you can store your suit cases at the Meru Slopes office before getting in the jeep) - the jeep has limited space so a large backpack or similar is best. Pack warm clothes for cold nights and mornings (including a hat and gloves), toilet paper and soap in case the camp sites don’t have it, flash lights, face masks for the dust while driving, and binoculars to see the animals further away. All in all we want to extend a huge thank you to Meru Slopes’ kind staff and especially Lobulu and Rashid for all the effort and hard work put in to enabling such an unforgettable experience.

Fantastic experience in Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara - It was my second safari experience after Namibia and I was afraid it would be very repetitive. Instead, every single day made me live different experiences, incredible and never taken for granted, starting from Tarangire with its huge African elephants, to the days spent in the Serengeti park, where we also had the opportunity to head north and witness the migration of the wildebeest, with their "dramatic" crossing of the river from heartbeat. Ngorongoro Crater is something incredible, a unique ecosystem in a few kilometers and Lake Manyara is really fascinating due to its very different nature than other parks. Much of the credit goes to the Lobulu Guide who assisted us with patience and always positive spirit throughout the trip, taking us to the most strategic points to savor every single moment. A huge thanks also to Rashid who cooked for us every meal, even at impossible times making us find and try local and delicious dishes, adapting to the needs of everyone. An unforgettable journey to repeat!

Awesome! You have exceeded all expectations! - We booked this tour with my partner. We shared the experience with four other people with whom we agreed very well. We visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngoro-Ngoro and Manyara Lake. We were lucky enough to see almost every animal we were supposed to see, we even saw the great migration of nyus across the river from Kenya to Tanzania, in the northern Serengeti, it was awesome! Our Guide, Lobulu, was the key to everything going well, he knew exactly where to go to find the animals, we had full confidence in his experience and a very nice atmosphere was created between everyone. Thank you so much for making this experience unforgettable!!!! It was also very important our chef Rashid, who cooked all the meals very fondly, thanks to him we tried many new dishes that were delicious! In short, thank you very much to the two and all the people of Meru Slopes who collaborated to make our stay perfect. Healthy Asante!!

Great experience - We were organized a bespoke safari with everything we asked, we could choose the hotels and we were advised very well. We spent 8 days on safari with Mohammed, who explained the whole itinerary and gave us explanations about animals and nature.

The great guides - I had an incredible experience on safari. Loburu and John's knowledgeable guides allow you to witness first-hand the herds of a variety of herbivores, including the big five. They listen to what their customers want and do exactly that.

Safari beyond expectations! - Super recommended agency to organize your safari! We are a couple and have just finished our 6 days/5 nights tent safari, spent with our Guide Godfrey and our Chef Gidion. The first compliments certainly go to the two of them: Godfrey satisfied our daily requests to see the big five (and we saw them all, more than once) and accompanied us through the beautiful landscapes, dictating relaxing rhythms and taking us to the most remote places where we could be alone with animals. Gidion delighted us with a cuisine always expressed, preparing for each meal succulent and extremely varied dishes. Another key piece was Jerome, who during the remote organizational phase was always super helpful: we organized a dedicated tour, visiting Tarangire NP, Lake Natron (highly recommended the small trek to the falls with the Maasai Guide), northern serengeti, central serengeti and ngorongoro. What about, everything perfect, safaris above our expectations: rely on Meru Slopes and you will be extremely satisfied!

Safaris in Tanzania - Amazing tour highly recommended without hesitation. Almanchius the sales manager was very informative and reassuring about the trip and all the inclusions without any worries on extra fees. The guide Rachid and his cooker were so great and professional. Our city guide Herman was also so kind and eager to make us know everything about his country. Magic trip to matenuri with him at the foothills of the Kilimanjaro. All was fine! Thank you so much guys for all!!
