Fantastic safari with Jose - Jose was an excellent tour guide - one of the best we’ve ever had. He spotted animals from extremely far distances, and had so much knowledge about the nature and wildlife. He listened to what we wanted each day and made sure to accomodate to it. He was friendly and chatty, and always willing to help and go the extra distance. He has an amazing attitude and really made our experience what it was. We managed to see all of the big 5 as well as many other animals up close. He explained everything to us along the way and made sure we were always comfortable. We would definitely recommend Jose to anyone looking to book with Seven Wonders - he was truly amazing!

Seven Wonders Safaris Delivered - Big Time! - We just got back from 2 weeks in Kenya and Tanzania. Evelyn and 7 Wonders Safari put the whole trip together and it was perfect, just what we wanted. As we planned the trip, months in advance, Evelyn would respond to email that day or the next, and answered every question we asked in detail. I knew we had a good company in 7WondersSafri months before we got to Africa because of how well Evelyn responded to our questions. She helped us with VISAs, border crossings, airport and bus arrivals, and COVID testing. We never had a single issue. We felt safe wherever we went, in Nairobi and anywhere else. She arranged for another company they work with in Nairobi to give us safaris in Kenya to the Maasi Mara, Giraffe Center, Baby Elephant Rescue Center, and Lake Navaisha. We were a family group of 7, and the Toyota 4x4 Landcruiser we used was great and gave everyone a seat. We wanted a budget tour and I guess that’s what we got. I couldn’t tell the difference between our safaris and anyone else’s that was in the park. Our vehicle was as good as any other, our driver was as good or better, we spent the same amount of time in parks, we saw all Big 5, plus lots more, we had nice places to stay, breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day we were on safari, etc. We may have been in a luxury tented camp (solid floor, some solid walls, private bathroom and shower inside our “tent”, etc.) instead of a 5-star Marriott, but our places were great. Some were a little nicer than others, but they were great. We weren’t looking to feel like we were staying in the Beverly Hills Hilton in the middle of a wild game park. In Tanzania we went to the Serengati, Lake Manyara (and saw lions in a tree, and a lion kill a baboon), and Ngrongoro Crater. We got charged by 2 black rhinos in Maasi Mara and it was great (until the next day our driver said he’d never been that scared). We wanted to feel like we were on a safari, in the bush, but safe. And we did, and were. A company rep met us in Nairobi and Evelyn met us in Arusha. I have nothing bad to say about 7 Wonders Safari. They were great. We also hiked half way up Kilimanjaro to the base camp as a 12 mile day hike. We would have loved to climb to the summit, but that’s a 5-day event and you need to be in better shape than some in our group. Thanks again Evelyn and Seven Wonders Safari.

Major failure of migration - Migration is no longer taking place thanks to climate change, partly because many animals have died of thirst or are no longer migrating at all. The Mara no longer carries too much water, which prevents the crocodiles from intervening. Yes, there are still Mara crossings taking place, but nowhere near what used to be. In addition, the operator is lousy to grotto-bad. The vehicle used for us was simply a disaster and the accommodation booked had exceeded our worst fears. Wasted money.
