Perfect honeymoon during low season - My wife and I spent our honeymoon on a safari with Lion King Adventures and the experience could not have been better! They were responsive via email and patient with numerous requests. They also let all of our accommodations know that we were on our honeymoon which meant we were treated like royalty everywhere we stayed. Our safari guide, Immanuel, made efforts to position us in the perfect spot to view all the animals (we saw all of the Big 5), kept the car clean at all times and was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna around us. We could not have asked for a better service from start to finish.

A Seven day Safari with Lion King Adventures~ splendid! - A First Safari with Lion King and many more to come! I just returned from my first trip to Tanzania and it was spectacular! Here’s why~ We went on a seven day safari with Lion King Adventures and every single moment was memorable. Our trip took a few exciting months of planning and looking back, I wouldn't have changed a single thing. From the beginning it was clear we were working with knowledgeable, kind and professional people in the Lion King Adventures office. This confidence extended immediately to our driver, Tuma who met us at the airport and showed us around Arusha for the first few and last days. On day three, our safari began! We met our brilliant guide and driver, Yusuph who drove us with tireless energy and diligence through Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and the vast Serengeti game parks over the course of the week. Being a safari guide is a serious and highly skilled profession. One must be alert at all times, not only for wild animals but for the extremely challenging navigation skills required for roads with huge ruts, washboards, narrow creaky bridges and lots of dust. Yusuph was incredible! Plus he taught us so much about the animals, birds and exotic vegetation. We learned about behaviors, habitats, migration patterns, all delivered with great joy, wisdom and depth of knowledge . We arrived at Nyota Serengeti ,a Lion King Adventures wonderful luxury tented camp, after a long arduous transfer drive from the Ngorongoro Crater to this remote area of the park. Lights twinkled along the pathways leading to each carefully crafted tent, a combination of wood and canvas beautifully constructed. After settling in, enjoying a hot shower and looking out towards the distant river at the grazing cape buffalo and zebras, I was escorted by Johana, a Maasai warrior with a spear and a flashlight to the dining pavilion. We ate the most delicious meal, prepared by the creative chefs. I had a stir fry I will never forget. All the meals at Nyota are beautifully prepared with the freshest ingredients. Each night we sat under the starry sky and felt so welcomed and honored to be there. I shall think fondly of all the people we met along the way: Florida, Caroline, Godwin in the office in Arusha and so many others there as well, the mechanics who seem to perform miracles on the vehicles and a special shout out to the fabulous Yusuph! Amazing experience - Our honeymoon first-stop trip was absolutely amazing. We've seen a huge amount of animals and all the members of the big five. Our guide (Freddy) was incredible, really kind and professionnal. He knows the animals, the bahaviour and sees stuff what others can't see. I highly recommand this company with Freddy as guide.

Jambo Jambo Tanzania - Lion King Tours is a top notch organization that prides itself on providing personalized tours. My sister and I had a private driver (Shaban) each day he asked us what animals we were most expecting to see based on our requests he delivered (with the exception of the elusive rhino) lol. I can’t say enough about the wonderful safari experience and the memories that will last a life time. If you’re thinking of booking a tour don’t forget to book the hot air balloon experience; seeing the migration from the air is an excellent way to end your adventure.

absolute recommendation!!! - All in all we had a really great experience! Lion King Adventures is a great independent company. Everything is very well organized and responses are fast. I was sick before our trip and couldn't take part in the day hike on the first day. Lion Kind Adventures organized a great alternatve for me on short notice. The Safari was breathtaking! The lodges great and really clean. The staff was always friendly. Our guide Enock made the experience even better. He is a great driver, is very patient and spontaneous. He is so experienced, knows all about the animals, plats, parcs etc...there was no question that was left unanswered. I would warmly recommend Lion King Adventures if you want an unforgettable experience in Tanzania!

A great Tour - The staff took care of us in every step of the way. Everything was greatly organised. Our guide Enoch is the best. He answered all our questions and had a good mood the whole time. He knew so much about all the animals and plants. We loved the Safari so much. We did not want it to end.

Best experience! - We booked a 8 days Safari including Kilimandscharo. Everything could be arranged as we wished and we were not dissopointed at all! Our guide for Serengeti and area was Enock. He was so helpful and reliable, knows everthing about the parks and its animals, and was also very friendly and funny. We also enjoyed great lunch on Safari and always cold drinks. The group of us is sure we book Lionking again.

Amazing Safari Experience! - I just returned from a 7-day safari trip, and it was truly unforgettable! The guide plays such a crucial role in the experience, and our guide, Mwita, was exceptional. His extensive knowledge and experience, having grown up in Serengeti National Park, made all the difference. He knew animal behaviors and the best spots for photo opportunities, ensuring we didn’t miss a thing. The trip was well-planned and tailored to our preferences, making it both personalized and flexible. We had to add some excursion last minute. They took care it without any hesitation. The accommodations were fantastic, with a great mix of lodges, hotels, and luxury camps that enhanced our experience. I highly recommend this safari to anyone looking for an incredible adventure. You won’t regret it!

Saw it all!! Learnt a lot and had a once in a lifetime experience - Once you have chosen the safari outfitter the MOST important component of the trip is the guide. In both cases the outfitter we chose - Lion King - was excellent. After reading many reviews, I was drawn to Lion King and they didn’t disappoint. They were courteous, timely, knowledgeable, understanding of our needs, super flexible and always reachable by WhatsApp. As far as the guide is concerned - I feel that this will make or break your safari experience. Our guide Mwita was incredible. He was like the animal whisperer.!!!! Whether anticipating the animals moves, understanding their body language, knowledgeable of all the animals, knowing where and when to go, Mwita was spot on! We saw some incredible scenes only because he knew what was coming. I would highly recommend Lion King and of course - ask for Mwita!!!

Amazone Safari - We had an amazing safari with our guide Shaphino! We have seen all animals on our wish list (9 of the big 9). Shaphino told us lots of interesting stories about nature and animals. We would really recommend Lion king adventure.
