Tarangire National Park - This morning, drive to Tarangire National Park. The park is traversed by the Tarangire River, which never dries up. As the only water source during the dry season, it attracts hundreds of animals, making for spectacular wildlife and bird viewing. Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, set out for the drive to Serengeti National Park. Serengeti National Park - Spend a full day in the Serengeti with game drives, renowned for its beauty and home to the Great Wildebeest Migration. The park is dominated by large herds of plains game such as wildebeest, zebra, and antelope, with predators like lions and cheetahs found among the many kopjes scattered across the plains. The landscape varies from open grass plains in the south, savanna with scattered acacia trees in the center, hilly wooded grassland in the north, to extensive woodland and black clay plains in the west.

Ngorongoro Crater - Enjoy a morning game drive en route to Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater floor for game driving and exploration. The crater is 600m deep, 16km across, and 265 sq km in area. Experience the breathtaking scenery and wildlife, often described as the eighth wonder of the world. Many of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos can be seen grazing on the open grassland, surrounded by some of the 20,000 large animals that inhabit the crater, including lions, cheetahs, elands, zebras, and gazelles. Flamingos and other bird species can often be seen feeding at Makat Soda Lake. In the afternoon, drive to your lodge for an overnight stay.

LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK | SPRINGLANDS HOTEL

Lake Manyara National Park - This morning, drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Set against the steep escarpment of the Rift Valley, the park features an evergreen groundwater forest and a variety of ecosystems, including acacia woodland, grassy plains, a swampy fan delta, and the expansive lake. This diversity attracts a wide range of mammals, birds, and wildlife species. Manyara is also home to rare tree-climbing lions. The park offers excellent game viewing, with buffalo, impala, giraffe, bushbuck, waterbuck, hippos, and numerous elephants near the lake. Look out for blue monkeys, vervet monkeys, and active olive baboon troops.

A tour to Africa is not complete without a visit to view the wildlife in the famous national parks: Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire. On safari, you can see giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, elephants, hippos, and a large variety of birds. Among the more rare treats are rhinos, leopards, cheetah, or a lion.
