• Materuni Waterfalls - Materuni is the home of the Chagga tribe and remains an authentic tribal village. This delightful location is just 15km from Moshi Town and is the last village before reaching Kilimanjaro National Park.

First, visitors will explore the waterfalls, which are approximately a 40-minute walk away. The trail can be slippery and muddy, so it’s best to wear sturdy hiking boots. The views are absolutely stunning, and with some luck, the summit of Kilimanjaro will be visible. Upon reaching the waterfalls, visitors will be greeted by a spectacular 80-meter high cascade. The pool at the base of the waterfall is perfect for a refreshing swim, so be sure to bring swimwear!

After enjoying the beautiful scenery, the guide will lead a leisurely return to Materuni village, where a traditional Chagga lunch awaits. There will also be an opportunity to taste the local banana beer – a must-try experience!
