Great day trip to Materuni Waterfall and Chemka Hot Springs - The day trip with Ilfan was really a great experience. The waterfall is very worth seeing and the way there leads through lush rainforest. Those who want can even swim at the waterfall. At the end of the tour we were rewarded with extremely delicious coffee and a rich lunch. Afterwards we drove to the natural pool, which is not hot, contrary to its name, but has a very pleasant bathing temperature. The only downer: We couldn't see Kilimanjaro at any point as it was hanging in the clouds. Nevertheless: Clear recommendation.

Must do when in Arusha - If you have a spare day in Arusha, I highly recommend going on a day trip to the Materuni waterfall and the Chemka hotspings with Suricata Safaris. We combined the trip with a coffee tour in Materuni where the local coffee producers showed us the process from plant to your own cup of coffee. Special thanks to our wonderful guide Ilfan for showing us around!

Day Trip to Materuni Waterfalls & Chemka Hotsprings - We did the day trip to Materuni and Chemka hotsprings with John Jr and Ilfen Azu. We had a guided walk to the waterfalls followed by coffee making/drinking and a fabulous lunch in the local village. Followed by a relaxing and fun time at the hotsprings. We would 100% recommend this trip.

1-day tour near Kilimanjaro mountain - It was really nice 1-day tour - we saw Materuni waterfalls (you’ll need 1 hour trekking to reach the waterfall), we visited the Materuni village and see the whole process of coffee production - really enjoyed! Also we have a lunch with local food: banana soup, meat, rice, fruits for dessert - everything was delicious:) And finally we visited Chemka hot springs - was perfect after long way :) Thanks to our guides - John Jr and Mister T - good company is always nice :)

One day near Kilimanjaro - After the 5 Day Vacation Package, the Safaris decided to choose this tour as there were many good recommendations. It's all very well. At the beginning, there was a two-hour trek to Motherooni Falls. Tracking was easy enough, along the way our Guide John(jr) talked about different plant as well as interesting facts. Helped me take some beautiful pictures. After that, there was a delicious lunch with local cuisine, as well as a coffee plantation. There we were shown the whole process and finally we made a delicious coffee from the beans we had harvested. A good ending to the day was the warm springs in which you could swim, relax and watch the local fish and turtle.

Coffee and waterfalls - The waterfalls were really beautiful. There were not many tourists, so it was just us and nature which I really loved. After the waterfalls, we had a whole explanation about how coffee is made and it was very interesting to do the process yourself. Lunch was delicious with typical Tanzanian food. Everybody was really friendly and we were lucky with our guide mister T. He gave some interesting facts along the way. Thanks a lot for the experience!

Great visit! - Very good and clear explanation from our guide Mister T. The walk to the waterfalls is not that hard, the view is spectacular. Afterwords, the process of coffee making was very interesting & we enjoyed very much our own handmade coffee. The closing lunch was a lot & very delicious. Only good recommendation!
