Really Great service. - The tour to Mandara Hut through the rainforest was amazing. It’s a 900-meter climb, but the hike is relatively easy with gentle slopes. We booked this tour for our last day in Tanzania with Rupia Adventure because we had such a great experience with them on our 4-day Mt. Meru hike ten days earlier. We were so impressed with Rupia that we requested the same guide, Gidion, whom we had found to be an outstanding and friendly guide. The trip offered a wonderful taste of Kilimanjaro, with full-day service from Rupia and the best guide ever—truly a fantastic combination!

Fantastic safari Experience ever - This is the perfect day trip for anyone interested in exploring Kilimanjaro. Our guide, Emmanuel, from Serengeti Wildlife Safaris, picked us up promptly at 6:00 AM from our hotel. We drove through Moshi to the National Park gate, where we began our climb. At first, we were nervous about hiking at high elevation, but Emmanuel reassured us to take it "pole, pole" (slowly) and sip water regularly, and we quickly adapted to the altitude. The hike itself was moderate, with well-maintained trails. There were also well-equipped toilet facilities with running water, soap, and toilet paper every 1.5 hours! We hiked up to the crater and back down, and it was a clear day with breathtaking views of Kenya and the Kilimanjaro summit from our vantage point. The scenery was stunning, with glacier streams, waterfalls, and a beautiful rainforest canopy shading most of the trail. We even spotted monkeys along the way! The entire hike took about 9 hours, including lunch, and I have to mention that Emmanuel carried our backpack the whole way and brought a delicious lunch, which we enjoyed at picnic tables at Mandara Hut. I can’t say enough about this amazing day hike!

They carried our food, water, and even one person’s day pack, ensuring we were comfortable and safe throughout the journey. This is not an easy stroll, but they made it manageable. Highly recommend this tour group! A huge shout-out to Kareem, our driver, who did an excellent job navigating the challenging market day traffic on the way back to Arusha.

A Flawless Experience from Start to Finish! - I had only a short time to visit Tanzania and wanted to experience a full day climbing the great Kilimanjaro. Serengeti Wildlife Safaris offered this trip, and Elly, my guide, made it perfect. From airport transfer, hotel arrangements, to the day hike and return, everything was well organized. They promptly answered all my questions and concerns via WhatsApp. The pickup at the airport and the ride to Kilimanjaro National Park the next morning were smooth and friendly. I even learned a few Swahili words and heard stories about the tribes and villages around Kilimanjaro. The hike on the Marangu route through the rainforest to Mandara Hut was incredible, with unique flowers, vegetation, monkeys, and birds I had never seen before. Elly was experienced and knowledgeable, timing the hike perfectly, allowing me to go at my own pace, and even helping carry my backpack when things got tough near the end. We managed to return to the base just 15 minutes before the park closed.
