• Bondeni Street - Our local guide will explain about the market and you can buy fresh fruit to beautiful Maasai beadwork and carvings to fabulous kikoys, cows and sheep! Arusha’s markets are the place to buy gifts for those at home.
• Kilombero Market - It’s a sensory overload and probably better for sightseeing than actual shopping but it’s great fun! the Kilombero Market is where residents shop for fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, spices and hundreds of other things.
• Arusha National Natural History Museum - This is by far the best museum in the city. If no travel is complete without a museum visit, look no further. The Natural History Center boasts an excellent exhibit on human evolution, among other things. Tanzania is the geographic center of the human story, so this is pretty powerful
• Themi Living Garden - The ladies serve fresh organic vegetarian lunch at the ‘Eat Wild’: first eco-restaurant in Tanzania. This type of food you cannot get anywhere else! And trust me, even if you are a meat-lover, I am telling you, you will not miss the meat, this veg food is super good and the quiet sound of the river and the trees that you should we should visit this place.
