This park, Tanzania’s third-largest, is renowned for its impressive baobab trees that tower over the animals grazing below. The Tarangire River is the heart of the park, famous for hosting some of Africa’s largest elephant herds. You might also spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, lesser kudus, buffaloes, oryxes, elands, giraffes, and zebras. Later, proceed to Kizumba Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

The Ngorongoro Crater is about 600 meters deep, with a diameter of 20 km and an area of approximately 260 sq km.

Inside the crater, you can find wildebeests, elephants, zebras, antelopes, prides of lions, buffaloes, leopards, jackals, hyenas, and hippos. The crater is also home to over 500 bird species, ranging from the largest to the smallest, and you can see many of them in a short time.

Lunch will be at a picnic site near the permanent hippo pool. After lunch, complete your game drive and ascend the crater on your way to your lodge.

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park - After an early breakfast at your lodge, drive straight to Lake Manyara National Park. Known for its tree-climbing lions and as a bird paradise, the park hosts great white pelicans, yellow-billed storks, and smaller numbers of marabou storks, grey herons, palm-nut vultures, hawks, and many more. You can also spot numerous animals like elephants, wildebeests, zebras, and Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles. Predators in the park include lions, hyenas, and black-backed jackals. Lunch will be at a picnic site. After further exploring the park, drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your adventure. Spend the night at Arusha Tourist Inn.

Lake Manyara National Park - The park’s natural beauty is enhanced by the unique geological feature of the Maji Moto hot springs. From spots like the Msasa viewpoint, the park offers sweeping views that allow visitors to appreciate the diversity of both species and landscapes.
