Arrival in Tanzania
Arusha - Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, the guide will warmly welcome you and escort you to the office in Arusha. Being local Tanzanians, the guides possess extensive knowledge of the country and Arusha city, ensuring you are well taken care of from the moment you arrive until your departure. It is always recommended to spend the night in Arusha before embarking on the safari, as the safaris typically commence early in the morning.
Arusha to Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - Following breakfast, the journey from the accommodation in Arusha to Serengeti National Park begins, taking approximately 6 hours (including all stops) and passing through the Ngorongoro Crater. A brief stop at the gate and viewpoint will allow you to admire the stunning view of the crater. Subsequently, the journey continues to Serengeti National Park, arriving in the late afternoon for a game drive in Seronera (the heart of Serengeti) until late evening, where the magnificent Serengeti sunset can be enjoyed. Overnight accommodation will be at the Serengeti Safari Lodge.
Serengeti to Ngorongoro National Park
Serengeti National Park - An early breakfast will be followed by a morning game drive to observe a variety of wildlife. In the afternoon, return to the campsite for lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti. Upon completion, the journey to the lodge (a 2-hour drive) will commence, where dinner and an overnight stay near the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater await.
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater - After an early breakfast, the descent into the crater begins at 6:15 am, with the aim of spotting the elusive black rhino, as they are the most challenging to find in this picturesque crater. Most animals are relatively easy to spot in this park due to its crater floor. Following lunch, a game drive will take place before ascending the crater and heading towards Arusha airport for departure or to a hotel, depending on your schedule.
