Arusha - Upon arrival, a representative from Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris will greet you in Arusha. The driver will transport you to your hotel in Arusha, where you can relax and unwind after your journey. If time allows, an optional city tour is available. Overnight stay at Serena Arusha Hotel.

Arusha to Tarangire

Tarangire National Park - Begin your day with an early morning game drive. The park is renowned for its large elephant herds, so be on the lookout for these magnificent animals. You may also encounter lions, leopards, and various antelope species.

Proceed to the Tarangire River, a popular spot for wildlife, especially during the dry season. This area is ideal for bird watching, with over 550 species recorded in the park. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a safe and shaded area.

Continue your adventure with an afternoon game drive. The late afternoon light offers excellent photography opportunities. Return to your lodge for dinner, and relax while sharing stories of the day’s adventures around the campfire.

Central Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the world’s most famous wildlife reserves. It covers over 14,750 square kilometers (5,700 square miles) and is celebrated for its diverse ecosystems, including savannahs, woodlands, and rivers.

The park is best known for the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross its plains in search of greener pastures. The Serengeti is also home to the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros), as well as cheetahs, giraffes, and numerous bird species.

Arrive at Serengeti National Park in the mid-afternoon, enjoy lunch, and proceed with a game drive. Transfer to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge, a luxurious accommodation that harmonizes with the natural surroundings. Savor a delicious dinner at the lodge, followed by a briefing about the next day’s activities.

Northern Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Depart early for a sunrise game drive (around 6:00 AM). Travel from central Serengeti to the northern parts to witness the wildebeest migration across the Mara River.

Spend the entire day with our professional guide until evening, when you will have dinner and an overnight stay in the northern part.

Spend your final night under the vast African sky, perhaps enjoying a campfire or evening entertainment provided by the lodge.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Serengeti National Park - Morning: Early Game Drive in Serengeti 6AM: Depart for an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Experience the park waking up, with opportunities to see sunrises and continue with the game.

The guide will focus on areas you may have missed or revisit favorite spots to capture more wildlife sightings. Enjoy a packed lunch in the park, surrounded by nature.

Afternoon: Depart Serengeti and head towards Ngorongoro Crater (approximately a 3-4 hour drive).

You’ll arrive at Ngorongoro highlands and check in at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, set on the rim of the crater with breathtaking views. Relaxation: Unwind at the lodge.

Ngorongoro Crater and then Arusha

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After breakfast, depart for an early morning game drive in Ngorongoro Crater (approximately 600 meters deep). Look for the Big Five and other wildlife in this unique ecosystem, including elephants, lions, and rhinos.

Continue to explore the crater, visiting various habitats, including the swamps and grasslands. Then proceed with a game drive until lunchtime at a picnic site. You’ll check out and begin your drive back to Arusha (approximately 3-4 hours).

Enjoy the picturesque landscapes and local villages along the route. Check in and relax in this beautiful setting with views of Lake Duluti. Enjoy your final dinner at Arusha Serena Safari Lodge, reflecting on your incredible safari experience.

Spend your last night at the lodge, enjoying the serene environment or engaging in optional evening activities.
