Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Departing from Arusha in the morning, the journey will lead to Serengeti National Park by the afternoon. Upon arrival, an afternoon game drive will commence. By late afternoon, the campsite located in the heart of the Serengeti will be reached. Tents will be set up, and a chef will prepare a delightful dinner in the evening.

The Serengeti is celebrated for its expansive savannah and forest landscapes, spanning approximately 30,000km² (12,000mi²) across northern Tanzania and Kenya, with 80% situated in Tanzania. The park is renowned for the annual migration of wildebeest and zebras. During this migration, around 1.5 million herbivores, along with their followers and numerous predators, traverse the area due to drought, moving from the northern hills to the southern plains. After the rains in mid-April, they return via a route through the western region. The grasslands cover over a third of the park, providing an excellent opportunity to observe a variety of wildlife throughout the year.

Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Highlands

Serengeti National Park - Rise before sunrise to enjoy a cup of tea before embarking on a game drive, with hopes of spotting lions and other wildlife. Following the drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and continue exploring the Serengeti. In the afternoon, depart from the Serengeti and travel to the Ngorongoro Crater. Dinner will be served at the lodge, located in the mountains just beyond the crater rim.

Ngorongoro Crater and Return to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater - After an early breakfast, descend to the floor of the magnificent caldera. Within the crater, rhinos and a variety of other animals, including hyenas, lions, buffaloes, wildebeest, zebras, and cheetahs, can be observed. In the afternoon, depart from the Ngorongoro Crater and return to Arusha. The guide will provide a drop-off at Kilimanjaro International Airport for the onward flight.
