Professional and considerate service - The tour guide Max is great. He has great eyesight, professionally explains the ecological habits of various animals, and is very attentive to everyone's needs.
We saw many rare scenes, including antelopes giving birth, cheetahs migrating their babies, lions and leopards eating, giraffes quarreling, zebras and wildebeests migrating... It was a rich journey, and the restaurants and food were great~

High quality safari in Africa - We experienced a personally designed tour for two in the national parks of Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. All the arrangements and preparations prepared by Salim worked out in the best possible manner. Our tourguide and driver Hamisi was knowledgeable, friendly, alwise helpful and very professional. Thanks to him, we have learned a lot about African animals, birds and plants.
We have been travelling before in many African countries and had safaries in their national parks but this experience exeeded all of our expectations. We have seen a lot and have taken together more than 5000 photos.
During the whole safari we felt us every day welcomed, cared and safe.

There's no better time to visit Tanzania than now and with these guys - So we have decided to go to Tanzania in these turbulent times without knowing how it is really work in Tanzania these days and the fact that many others were telling not to go because of Corona situation.
We have decided for Bright African Safaris as they were the ones who were replying to our questions quickly and in fact. They were very flexible and adapted whole programme to fit our travelling dates and expectations.
Once we arrived everything was great. I can say that I had doubts about Corona situation in tanzania but the reality is that this is one of not many countries where life goes like in times before this happend. So everything went smoothly since our arrival till our departure.
Programme was great as it was planned, guys were always on time, they even upgraded our agreed accomodations as there were now better prices due to lack of tourists. We had our private driver Salim who I will definitelly select again next time. Great guy who do everything for you to have the best of the journey.
The great thing in this situation is also the fact that instead of 300 jeeps in safaries (which is normal) there were like only a few tourists apart of us. This means that we could really enjoy all safaries with only animals around, lodges were empty and we were able to get really luxurious ones for the same price. Staff in lodges and everywhere is very good, friendly, helpful, food is great though too...
Let me name a few of them:
Acacia in Serengeti
Villa Maua in Arusha
Retreat somewhere on the way...
So we have seen a lot, and me personally decided to come again soon whilst not so many tourists and with the whole family. Funny thing was that one of those few tourists were travelling with only 7months old baby.
Also - NO mosquitos at all which is also great in Africa...
So do not hesitate and just go...now.

The Best Safari Company in Africa - Wanted to say kudos to the Bright Safari for showing us a wonderful time in Tanzania during our recent Safari visit.
The owner Masangi And his assistant, Salim in the office did a good job helping us organize the trip. You can communicate with them via what sap or via email.
We had researched more than eight safari companies and narrowed it down to three and finally decided to go with Bright safaris.
This company is based out of Arusha, hence keeping it local. It helps the local economy and they are very well versed with the terrain and case you have an emergency like a jeep getting stuck their close enough to come and get you.
They give you choices of different lodges and tented places to stay. They are all excellent choices.
The three guides who picked us up from the airport in Serengeti air strip
One of the best things that ever happened to us in this trip were the Guide Drivers-Salim ,who has an eye of an eagle the leader of the pack could spot Leopards On trees and cheetahs in between the grass. Rajabh ,who has the smell of a bear could anticipate animals -This driver guide was very enthusiastic and energetic, and was always helpful in helping a lot of people needed help on the way and getting stuck in the mud. Albert, the driver guide was great in spotting birds and his knowledge was amazing.
The hospitality was excellent. They selected the best places for Us to eat in the Bush, always with Giraffes, Zebras and Elephants in the background.
I must mention that there the three best drivers in terms of navigating through the tough roads one could ever get!The Jeeps were very comfortable throughout the journey. They were also very flexible with our schedules. We had kids with us who enjoyed every bit of it!!
I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone who is looking to have a good time and enjoy nature and one of the best Ecosystems, nature has to offer. The Serengeti landscape And Gorongoro craters are amazing. The ecosystem was full of wild animals living in harmony with each other and Got to learn about the food chain. We also got to see a Kill.
A pride of lions killing the African Buffalo.
I wish this self-made company the best and we would not hesitate to use them again if I travels take us there.

Fabulous adventure in fabulous Tanzania - My mom and I just finished our 8 day safari adventure with Bright African Safaris and it was simply wonderful. Our experience with Bright was exceptional, from beginning to end.
I dealt with Salim to organize the trip, and he was consistently responsive, helpful and patient as we went back and forth with changes to our itinerary.
Our guide, Hamis, was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and delightful to spend time with. He took the time to check in with us to ensure that our experience was positive, and that we were happy with all our accommodations in Karatu area, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater.
The accommodations were excellent, especially the Sound of Silence tented camp, the Marera Valley Lodge and the Orelai Lodge in Arusha. Staff at each spot were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful.
We have had the trip of a lifetime. Thank you so much to Bright African Safaris for this experience!!

Pumbaa!! - Asante sana Hasim!! Our family of two adults and two kids (10,13) traveled for 8 days in July through Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro national parks. We picked Bright African Safaris based on reviews and they surpassed all expectations. Their attention to detail was amazing and made everything go very smoothly. We began the planning by requesting quotes from 5 different tour operators, and only BAS responded in a professional manner. They included complete options for itineraries with prices and instructions. That first impression made a difference in choosing BAS. On the safari, our guide Hasim was amazing!! He shared all his knowledge of the animals, parks and people, and also had the patience of an angel. Our daughter fell sick and required constant stops and a trip to the local hospital in Arusha. The hospital was incredible, got a diagnosis and medicine in less that two hours. BAS took us to the hospital and then back, making everything super easy. Thank you!!!! The hotels they selected were also incredible, very beautiful and with very large rooms, our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer and enjoy them. I was also very impressed with the respect Hasim had for the parks and animals. He communicated clearly the no feed, no leaving trash behind policy. I took that for granted until i saw other groups from other companies clearly not giving a crap. Thank you Hasim for protecting your beautiful parks. We miss you!

Holiday of a lifetime and memories to last forever - We chose Bright African Safaris entirely based on TripAdvisor reviews and because Salim answered all of our pre-trip questions quickly, and accurately. We have just spent 8 days in Tanzania with them and have to say that they really did an exceptional job of giving us a proper safari experience and ensuring that we didn't have to worry about anything at anytime; they had it all organised and planned. Our experience began with Hamis picking us up from the airport and taking us to the office to get our briefing and finalise our plan for the week. (More about Hamis later...)
After a night in an Arusha hotel we met Ali, our guide, who was absolutely superb throughout the whole safari. He is clearly passionate about spotting wildlife and loves the Serengeti; sharing his knowledge about animal behaviour and making decisions to go around the obvious groups of spotters and anticipate what was about to happen; once this meant we tracked a Cheetah for a couple of miles as it slowly closed on the road we were driving on; Ali got it bang on and we had a lovely close up view of it, while the other trucks had stayed way back looking through long lenses. On another occasion he anticipated some Lion behaviour and positioned us perfectly to watch two female lions fight off an aggressive male threatening their cubs. He put us right next to a Hyena devouring a Gazelle (that was an eye opening moment on the circle of life!). I got my best shot of the visit because Ali put the truck exactly in the right place to take a picture of a Leopard looking right down my camera lens. His driving skills were excellent (which matters here as the Serengeti is vast and some of the driving very technical). The picnics we had every day were fantastic and he always ensured we had a great spot; especially on the day we had our picnic on the banks fo the Mara river. The tanzania bush camp was truly wonderful and the night in the migration camp the most spine tingling as an elephant devoured most of a tree just 10 feet from our tent as lions and hyena roared and called in the distance.
The true measure of a company is what they do when things go wrong and on the very last day we made a silly mistake and left a mobile phone at the Ngorogoro Crater entrance and didn't realise until we got back to Arusha (2.5 hours away). We asked Bright African to arrange to mail it to us after our return. Instead, Hamis drove all the way from Arusha to Ngorogoro, collected the phone and brought it to back our hotel. That meant a lot, took a lot of effort and reaffirmed our view that this is a great tour operator because they actually care about what they do and how they look after their customers.
I would recommend them without hesitation and please feel free to message me if you have any questions if you are going to Serengeti, Tarangire or Ngorogoro. Thank you Salim, Hamis and Ali. You made our holiday one filled with special memories.

A Journey of a Lifetime - Thanks to Bright African Safaris for giving me the Journey of a Lifetime. Every detail, from transportation to lodging and food, to having an expert guide seemed customized to make my journey everything I had hoped for and more. It was the dream vacation. One day my guide/driver said he saw a leopard carrying a gazelle about 300 meters away, in high grass. How could he see that? but soon the leopard and its catch emerged and continued to walk straight toward us, to within 30 meters. My guide could identify every moving thing he saw, and was always ready to add detail, such as how a giraffe could eat from the thorny acacia tree. I felt like a king every day on this journey, but also had plenty of chances to also engage in conversation with Tanzanians to know their lives and their dreams. The vehicle itself was a wonder, the food was high quality and each day I thought it could never get better. Each day I was wrong. Thank you Bright African Safaris for the Journey of a Lifetime.

Amazing Personalized Trip - Wow what a trip, is the first thing that comes to mind. We were planning for this trip for some time now and with kids age around 8 & 10 years we wanted to make sure it’s comfortable, safe and best of what Tanzania has to offer. We started our initial research on what we want to do and types of stay. Next part was to execute it and that is where Tanzania safari is very different from other places. We were looking at a company which can help us really make a tailor made trip. Had contacted 3-4 names and from the first email exchange with Salim, I got that sense of comfort that these are the right partners for our once in life time trip. Salim was so helpful, very knowledgeable and flexible in approach. Looks like their work ethos was what customer wants and they will make that happen. There was a tour operators who were kind of pushing us to stay in some camps and later came to know that camps were owned by them, so a huge conflict. There was another operator who was running a factory with more than 100 vehicles. I had exchanged around 10 plus emails with Salim and got all the replies in 24 hrs, very efficient. Looking at what was out there, we got super lucky and happy to have finalized on Bright African Safari. Everything from airport transfers to safaris to stay to food was perfect.
Best part starts now, when we landed we were informed that our guide for this trip would be Salim (same names). We found him extremely friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. Kids would give him challenge every day for sightings and he would work very hard to make that happen. I could really feel that difference in attitude, he really meant that clients must be happy and should see the best. It was fasting month for him still from morning 7am to evening 5pm he used to be on toes to make sure we are having best of our time. Very knowledgeable in terms of animals, birds, vegetation, insects I would say almost everything. He was as walking encyclopaedia for us and we had such an amazing time. He was very patient in terms of spotting and in most of the cases we used to be the first ones to spot and being followed by army of others whos guide seems to be very less interested as they were working in factory. One of the days he even took us to Ndutu which was not part of our trip and we were able to see around 10 lion cubs few as old as a month. We strongly feel, it’s the guide who makes the whole difference and we were lucky to have Salim. We are already planning for the next one just to his favourite place Ndutu and we would love to have him back as guide.
Bright African Safaris have a very good concept of carrying steel tiffin box and water bottles, very good for environment but also warm food for picnic. Overall I feel its was an amazing trip and credit goes to the team. I strongly recommend them if you are looking at a very personalized trip that too in your budget this is the team you must speak.
