After an early breakfast, you drive to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch for a game drive. This lovely park boasts the largest concentrations of elephants in the world and the highest number of breeding bird species. Especially during the dry season, Tarangire National park is packed with wildlife. Big cats like lions, cheetahs and leopards, but also the seldom seen Kudu, Oryx and Gerenuk. The Tarangire River draws huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, as well as predators who prey upon them. Later in the afternoon you drive back to Arusha.

This excursion commences and concludes in Arusha. At the crack of dawn, our tour guide will come to your hotel. Following a short introduction, you will be transported to Tarangire National Park. The ride from Arusha to Tarangire should take around 1:30 hours. Once you get there, you will be taken to the park’s entrance, and from there, you can start your unforgettable wildlife spotting drive until the later hours of the afternoon.

Tarangire National Park is home to a vast variety of wildlife, including elephants, zebras, wildebeests, lions, leopards, caracals, African wild dogs, honey badgers, waterbucks, olive baboons, giraffes, impalas, elands, vervet monkeys, and more. In the afternoon, you will pause for a packed lunch.
After a rewarding afternoon spent among the wildlife, you will be driven back to your hotel in Arusha.
