Great organization, tasty food, good talks! Woman power! - We did this cooking workshop with more friends and it was an absolutely beautiful experience! We cooked the most delicious food I ate since 1 month in Tanzania, got some deep cultural insights, had beautiful and important talks about different issues and learned a lot about this amazing organization. We loved the place, a lot of female Energy, we felt super comfortable and welcome! Thank you so much for your work and for helping so many people! We respect your work so much and are happy that we could support the work in exchange for a great cooking lesson and tasty food. Also the sewed pieces were incredibly beautiful. Would recommend this at anytime and hope to see you soon!

Amazing experience - amazing cooking class with lovely local women! The food was delicious!! Very impressed about the foundation and the support they give to women in need. If you want to see the process of making typical tanzanian food and support a good cause you are at the right place!

Amazing cultural experience - This small NGO is working hard to empower widows and those with HIV to learn a skill and open their own businesses. We were fortunate to be there when the children came in for lunch. Had a great time singing and dancing with them. I had a beautiful dress made and learned how to make beaded jewelry. My partner took a cooking lesson and made a number of of dishes for lunch. Visiting was one of the highlights of our trip.

Cooking and jewelry class - I've been to both the cooking class and jewelry class. I would highly recommend them both - especially the cooking class. You get to choose what local foods you make. It is super delicious. The project leaders are very friendly and you really feel at home here.

Super nice experience - We booked the jewelry class and it was great! The staff is super sweet and you can make a variety of jewelry. We were gifted a tote bag that the mamas in the centre sewed and learned a lot about the foundation and their work. After the class we were invited for lunch and Thedy helped us catch the Dala Dala.

Feels like family! - Hosted in the cozy home of Theresia, this experience felt like stepping into a friend’s kitchen. The hands-on experience was cool. We made chapati and pilau and honestly it tasted so good. Our host shared stories about Tanzanian traditions, local life, and After cooking, we sat together to enjoy the meal we had prepared. It felt like a family gathering, with laughter, great conversation, and a shared appreciation for the delicious food.

Cooking for a good cause - We had a wonderful time making rice pilau and a Tanzanian salad, and learning about the good work that WEHAF is doing. We also bought lovely handmade items from the women in the program. I recommend this experience!

A great afternoon with a great organisation - My partner and I really enjoyed making chapati and learning more about the organisation. We also had some clothes made that were gorgeous and great value. Staff and volunteers went out of their way to help us. The organisation does amazing work and participating in these activities is a great way of supporting them.
