Fun family hike - Our family of four with 2 teenagers really enjoyed our hike on the Appalachian Trail and the fantastic views from Rich Mountain Fire Tower. Our guide Kacie was a lot of fun and full of knowledge about the area. I would definitely book a future tour with Blue Ridge Hiking Co.

Great hiking trip! - We went on a half day, private, hiking tour with Blue Ridge Mountain Company. Adam was our tour guide and was excellent! He called us in advance to go over the different options for hikes and to learn about our preferences. On the day of the tour he was flexible to our choices and we decided on our hike destination just before leaving. On the hike, he was extremely knowledgeable about the area, wildlife, plant life, and history of the mountain and trail. He was also just a pleasure to be with… a fun personality. He helped make this day a highlight of our first trip to Asheville. We highly recommend Adam, as a tour guide, and the Blue Ridge Mountain company. We look forward to doing this with them again.

Jenn G is the best hiking guide! Can't wait to go back! - We booked a private morning hike with Jenn G, and it was an incredible experience! Our adventures included a gorgeous drive up the Blue Ridge Parkway with stunning views, 1.5 miles up to Black Balsam (over 6,214ft elevation), and a short jaunt to check out the iconic Looking Glass Falls. Jenn was very attentive to our needs, she brought snacks (asking in advance about dietary restrictions), and she was very knowledgeable about the area. She also modified the hike for us beginners, which we appreciated. :) I couldn't recommend her enough!!

Awesome hike with a spectacular view - I had an awesome half day hike up to Looking Glass Rock. My guide, Adam Kampouris was great. His knowledge of the area and plants made the experience extremely memorable. The view at the top was exactly what I had asked for. After the hike Adam had suggested a longer but more scenic route back which added to my day. I am an experienced hiker, but being from Hawaii this was all new to me, including Adam pointing out poison ivy. I highly recommend Blue Ridge Hiking Company and if you have the opportunity to hike with Adam, say Aloha.

10-star experience! - This was definitely the highlight of our trip! If I could give this experience 10 stars, I would. Adam, who kind, knowledgeable, and experienced, was the perfect guide on the perfect day to take in 3 of Pisgah's waterfalls. A must do for your trip to Asheville!

Choices, choices, choices. - There are so many hiking options in the Ashville area. We did not have a lot of time to research for the best. Melinda helped us pick a great hike and fit into our tight schedule. She was a real delight to walk with and worked to make sure we were getting the most out of the experience.

We really enjoyed Adam and the hike - We found Adam to be a knowledgeable and friendly guide. He grew up in the area and has intimate insight about the Asheville and surrounding areas. He was extremely accommodating and an overall joy to spend our time with. Highly recommend…5 stars!

half day hikes - Had a fabulous time doing two half day hikes with Bev in Montreat and hiking up to a fire tower near hot springs! she is very knowledgable and enthusiastic! would highly recommend and will be back to hike again!

Hiking made stress free! - Our group recently booked the private half day hike with Blue Ridge Hiking Company and it was a very nice afternoon. One of the highlights for us was the convenience of being driven to the trailheads. This made the whole trip much more relaxing and enjoyable. Our guide Lexie was sweet, accommodating and attentive to our interest. The company also provided a snack which was a nice touch. Overall, I would recommend Blue Ridge Hiking company for a tailored stress free day of hiking.

Incredible hike with the most amazing guides! - I was so fortunate to go on a half-day hike with Bev and Melinda. This hike was the absolute highlight of my trip to Asheville! I was traveling solo and I knew that I wanted to see the Blue Ridge Parkway and go hiking. Bev planned the most spectacular hike! She is such an expert in all ways...excellent communication before our hike, picked the perfect hike, is the most amazing guide but more than anything, she is the friendliest and kindest human being and is just so much fun to be around. Having Melinda there was a bonus and she is also an amazing guide and a joy to be with! Bev and Melinda both were so attentive to my needs throughout the whole hike - providing me with polls and snacks and constantly checking-in with me to see how I was doing. This half-day hike FAR exceeded expectations. Both of these women are so inspiring and are a gift to people like me who aren't yet ready to hike alone. Thank you Bev and Melinda for a most memorable day!
