Good idea but needs overhaul - First part of tour of Linville Falls Winery was very good. Great location with nice patio overseeing the vineyards and tree farm. Plenty of different wines to try out. Second part of tour - visit to a cider maker and Little Switzerland was waste of time. While cider maker had a couple of interesting ciders, the location was out in the middle of the woods and doubled as a small rustic camping spot. Little Switzerland basically consists of two buildings housing a small eatery and three stores. Appears to be a popular spot for motorcyclists, but should not be a main part of a wine and dine tour. Also, there was no “dine” component of this tour. Charcuterie was available at winery, and sandwiches at the eatery in Little Switzerland. 5/5 Stars for our driver Logan, however, as he amiable, flexible and helped keep the experience interesting.
