Fantastic family holiday to climb Mt Toubkal - We had a superb 3 days and climbed Mt Toubkal at dawn on the 3 rd day. Our guide was fabulous and spoke great English. The cook & Mule men were so experienced and the food was delicious and plentiful at all 3 daily meals. I can highly recommend the 3 day treck. You need to be fit!

Amazing - I did this trek solo, there was also another traveler. Hassan (guide) and Ahmed (cook) took very good care of us. Hassan was particularly attentive and helpful to make us feel good. The views and weather were magnificent, definitely the right time. The lodges are modest but have everything you need to spend the night there. I will never forget their kindness, long live them. It could be interesting to organize meetings with Berber villagers during the evenings at the lodges. From my point of view it would be possible to do without mules to ensure animal welfare by modifying the organization somewhat. I highly recommend this trek!

Great Hike ! - What a great experience! We spent 3 days hiking through the Atlas valleys with our lovely guide Hassan and the cook Mohammed. They made us feel very safe and welcome, and ensured we enjoyed every step of the way. Hassan spoke to us in French and English, had great communication and was extremely patient with us. The hike on itself made us discover the villages with a panoramic view of the 3 valley. It can be a bit challenging sometimes but nothing impossible. We will happily book with them again, next time to Climb Mt. Toubkal!

Trip of a lifetime! - A truly wonderful experience! Mohammed arranged our 7 day family group to do a 4 day trek into the Atlas which involved a circuit route to include summiting Mount Toubkal. Our guide Hassan was amazing - we felt safe and looked after. He was professional and also very friendly and had perfect English and was able to give us so much local history information. We had 3 mules and 3 wonderful muleteers - Hamid cooked us 3 delicious meals every day, Marwoen and Hassan kept us smiling on the steep hills. A trip of a lifetime!

Excellent Three Days of Hiking - Everything ran smoothly from Marrakech and all the trekking in the Atlas Mountains was amazing. Our guide, Hassan, was perfect for us. He knew many of the people in the villages and was very insightful. The trek was beautiful and since we did the Three Valleys Trek, we were off the beaten track a lot more than other treks and didn’t see many people at all. The food was excellent, and we got served more than enough throughout the trek. All accommodations were nice and it was a special trip.

An excellent trek - Our trek was a slight variation on the published valleys trek and was extended to 5 days at our request. Although described as a valleys trek, be aware that it does cross from valley to valley over the passes. Not hard walking but do take account of the impact of walking at 2000m and (potentially) in hot weather. Our trip was everything we had hoped for, and more. We were supported by an excellent guide and muleteer / cook who went ahead and prepared our picnics and meals. We had asked for a further variation to the advertised trek by adding in a Marrakech riad at the beginning and end of the trip and an evening at Agafay (meal and camel ride). We trusted in the choice of 'Trekking in Morocco' for the riads and were not disappointed - Riad Anya and Riad Nesma, both well located within the Medina. All the transport arrangements, including airport transfers were on time and easily managed. We particularly appreciated the close contact with the Berber villages and using accommodation which was a real part of each village. Also, by booking directly with a local company, ensuring, as best we could, that the benefits from our visit remained within the local community.

Well organised and beautiful trek - We did the three valleys trek from Imlil. The weather was perfect (Morocco was in a drought and it was winter). Each valley was subtly different, with open rock, pine trees and juniper trees in different spots. You always had a great view of mountains including Toubkal. Our guide and mule driver (Abdul and Mustafa) were great and gave us space to just soak up the views. All meals were provided and were huge - included a tagine every lunch, which was amazing on a trail! Only notes are: - need to pay the balance in cash after paying deposit over Paypal. Also need to bring money for tips for the guide, mule driver/cook and the taxi driver (3ppl). - Need to separate out what you want to bring on the hike (on the mule), with what you want to leave in their office. So you'd bring 1x day pack, 1x bag for the trek (mule), and whatever else you can leave in a bag in the office.

Fabulous Trek in the Atlas Mountains - We loved being immersed in beautiful Atlas mountains and gaining insights into the Berber way of life. Mohamed provides an excellent service and is well regarded in Imlil. Our guide was wonderful and the mule-skinner/cook always arrived at our destinations first and provided delicious food (vegetarian at our request) and lots of mint tea. The Gite's we stayed at were simple and adequate and provided an opportunity to meet other trekkers (consider bringing a puff you can use as a pillow). The middle day was fairly long (22 km, 1500 meter elevation gain), but we started early and had plenty of breaks. Most of the trail is fairly smooth and easy, but some is steep with loose rocks and gravel. You'll want sturdy hiking shoes and possibly trekking poles if you have any concerns about your agility.

Highly Recommended! - Had a fantastic experience in the High Atlas! My partner got sick on day 1 of the trek and our guide was professional and knowledgeable, and ended up taking us back to spend the night in a guesthouse near his family home. We wound up having to forgo the hike altogether, instead spending our time seeing the small villages in Imlil Valley, but nonetheless couldn't be happier with the experience!

Very poor Guide - I have done a couple of Hikes in the Atlas mountains were very good. This one however was not good. In first instance the Guide who says he was very experienced mover at speed which made the hike quite hazardous. I asked him to slow down on a number of occasions but unfortunately he kept going. We hiked over significant terrain and did not take break other than time to take water for 4 hours 30 minutes. After lunch we continued downhill towards the village we were staying in for the night. Again he continued at pace. Unfortunately I slipped on loose sand and fractured a bone in my ankle. I had to hobble along with assistance for the last kilometre. I need hospitalisation where a plate was installed. I would suggest that you should be careful when selecting the hiking company as they vary significantly. Suffice it to say I will not be using this company in the future.
