• Imlil - At 9:15 AM we will head towards Agafay Desert for a full-day trip from Marrakech to explore the amazing high Atlas landscapes and the breathtaking views of Agafay Desert.

This magical place is the perfect getaway for some rest and relaxation. Enjoy the fresh mountain air as you wander around the beautiful gardens.
AGAFAY DESERT:
The excursion starts in the morning from Marrakech and your first adventure will be at Agafay, the closest desert to Marrakech. A hilly barren landscape in the foothills of the Atlas, the Agafay Desert is a playground for quad bikers and buggy enthusiasts with a backdrop of often snow-capped peaks.

LAKE:
The next stop will be at beautiful Lake Takerkoust where we will have a Moroccan mint tea break. This lake is a popular weekend destination where you can go boating or take a little swim.

MOUNTAINS:
From the lake, we will drive to Asni village and then to Imlil. We will follow a little-used mountain road to Imlil where you will have lunch at a local guesthouse. From here you will have a beautiful view of the Mizane Valley. After lunch, you will meet a local guide for a 1,5-hour walk in the area. After the walk, you will transfer back to Marrakech.

AGAFAY DESERT:
Your journey begins in the early hours of the day from Marrakech, with the first stop being Agafay, the nearest desert to Marrakech. This arid, hilly landscape located at the base of the Atlas range is a favourite for quad bike and dune buggy enthusiasts, with often snow-clad peaks providing a stunning backdrop.

LAKE:
Next, we will visit the serene Lake Takerkoust, where we’ll take a pitstop for some refreshing Moroccan mint tea. The lake is a popular local weekend spot for boating and swimming activities.

MOUNTAINS:
From the lake, our journey continues in a 4×4, traversing the Kik Plateau onto a quaint mountainside village named Imlil. We’ll proceed on a less-travelled mountain path to reach Imlil, where lunch awaits at an inviting local guesthouse. From this spot, you’ll witness a stunning view of the Mizane Valley. Post lunch, a local guide will accompany you on a scenic 1.5-hour stroll in the surroundings. After the walk, we will return to Marrakech.
