Camels and culture - Omar and Hasan (guide and mini bus driver) were superb providing a history of Morocco in an air conditioned bus. The first actual stop was the camel ride (ladies beware there is no where to go to the toilet so make sure you have been before you go) given good information on how versatile the camel is from providing transport to use of its hair and that a female camel can work up until she gives birth but then requires 18 months maternity level!! Explained why herbal tea and sugar is so important to people in the Atlas Mountains. Second stop was a women's Co-operative where they produce Argan Oil - this includes a light snack and demonstration with a proper toilet they do try and sell but its not a hard sell. You then drive into the mountains for the walk (do wear suitable shoes - even basic trainers are not sufficient as parts of the walk involve loose gravel and steep inclines - had I known I would taken my proper walking boots) Omar was brilliant in assisting me on some of the tricker parts including the wooden bridges to the waterfalls. It finishes with a traditional tagine and accompaniments at Omar's home before a steep walk down to the mini bus. Recommended.

My partner and I had a good time. - Our tour guide Moustapha does an excellent job, and he is also friendly and courteous. jokes when appropriate. He has a wealth of local knowledge. The valley and the places Moustapha takes us are both really lovely. Gorgeous vistas. We had couscous, tagine, and Moroccan salad for lunch, which is wonderful. Many thanks

Life experience!! - What an incredible day we had with Omar!! Although it was a rainy day, unusual for Marrakesh, we spent a wonderful time with Omar! He picked up our family of 4 in time with a big smile. It was a semi private tour, 7 in total. We started our tour with the argan oil women's cooperative, where we learnt the process of making argan oil, then visited a berber's village, where Omar's family prepared a very delicious lunch for us. This was the highlight of this tour! We saw many people had tours on Atlas mountains with other companies, and all of them brought them in a restaurant for lunch. What Omar did for us was something special!! He brought us to his house, to his family on the mountains!! We had the opportunity to meet an original Berber family and Omar gave us so many information about their life. This is something my family will never forget, a unique experience for my teenager daughters. On the way back we had our last stop for camel ride. This was great too!! Omar changed the program because of the rain, so we had the camel ride at the end of the tour. Thank you Omar for everything! Thank you for taking care of our family so good!! We look forward to our next visit in Marrakech!! Σε ευχαριστούμε πολύ!! Thanasis, Christine and girls!!!!!!!!!!!!

HIGHLY recommend - I was in Marrakech visiting my sister for 4 days and one of the days we spent with Mustapha.. riding camels, drinking mint team, learning of the process of Argan oil & trying local delicacies. We visited his village and ate Tagine cooked from his family at his home which has a gorgeous rooftop villa overlooking the canyon where he was born. Mustapha sprinkled in stories, jokes and learnings of his upbringing at the perfect pace and speaks great English. We were also transported around the mountains in a gorgeous Mercedes bends van which was extremely comfortable and spacious. Our day with Mustapha was definitely our favorite and we would highly highly recommend you spend a day with him if visiting Marrakech!
