Rome to Assissi Tour - Alex Poalini was a great tour guide. He took my husband and me from Rome to Assissi. He had breakfast and water in the car when he picked us up. When we asked him to stop at an unscheduled stop he was very accommodating. He took us from Rome to Assissi. Everyone should do this trip especially if you are Catholic. The town is quaint and full of charm. The churches are gorgeous. Anyone with a special devotion to St. Francis or St. Clare will love it. Alex was great and very knowledgeable. Make sure you have your walking shoes on.

Take this trip. You'll be so glad you did. - Getting to Assisi from Rome can be challenging. Getting around Assisi after having arrived is another layer of difficulty, especially for those with limited time. Our cheerful and accommodating driver for the day, Alex Paolini, helped us overcome both concerns by shuttling us efficiently to and through Assisi for a beautiful day that allowed us to see everything we had hoped to experience and more. He permitted our occasional distractions while still managing to keep us on schedule, in time to see every amazing church and holy site on our extensive agenda. The hills of Umbria are gorgeous, but climbing them fast enough to take in every location might require a marathoner's endurance and still risk the disappointment arriving to closed doors. Alex's brave driving through those narrow, beautiful streets and his thoughtful suggestion that we start earlier than originally scheduled got us everywhere on time and ready to move on to the next site without delay. Highly recommended. Worth every penny.

Beautiful city with a friendly guide - We just finished this tour and had a wonderful day. We are three adults and four youth. The town and basilicas should not be missed if you are in the area. Our driver was Alex Paolini. He was punctual, friendly, and made sure we were supplied with plenty of water and a beautiful snack. Alex was able to answer all of our questions about the area. His vehicle was clean and cool on an extremely hot day.

A religious experience in one day - This excursion was excellent. Alex made it super special from the beginning of the day by bringing breakfast for us. Along the way he explained to us about the different regions and places we were going to visit. Upon arriving in Assisi we went to see the church of Santa Ciara and the church of Santa Maria degli Angeli. The churches are beautiful and full of history. Afterwards we went to visit the church of San Francisco. Here we were able to attend mass and have free time to visit the entire church and take time with God. Alex also gave us free time to go shopping and eat. In the end he did us the favor of taking us to the church of Santa Maria Mayor where the body of Blessed Carlos Acutis is located. The trip was a success thanks to Alex. He explained everything to us as we went, adapted to us and arranged everything for our well-being. Thank you Alex for this special trip, breakfast and water. Very nice detail. During the entire trip we felt super safe. Alex drives very well and knows the roads very well. Grazie mille!

Away from the crowds - I am an old lady, not good at crowds or steps . I was lucky enough to have Alex Paolini as my driver and he made the experience truly memorable. First we stopped at Santa Maria degli Angeli, which I had never heard of that was much less crowded and truly beautiful. Later we went to a small town, Amelia, Alex provided pizza and gelato for lunch. He must be the kindest man in Rome. He has endless patience and doesn’t mind going slowly. I really recommend him for anyone with mobility problems
