Great experience in Astana - Originally I thought that this was an all walking tour of the city, but the tour operator advised me that it would be better to drive round the city. It was a good decision as Astana is a well spread out city and the places to visit are reasonable distances apart. I had a very pleasant experience with my tour guide Daulet who was a very knowledgeable person. All of the places I visited were great, but my favourite was the Grand Mosque, which is huge. Astana is a city certainly worth visiting

Good Full Day - Our tour guide Damir was great and lunch was excellent. About the tour structure, I think there are a few things that could be left out and some other things added. For example we spent a lot of time in the national museum and I would have rather seen the Hazrat Sultan Mosque instead. But I guess it all depends what you are into. The city is not walkable at all so definitely need a driver. Also one last little recommendation is that I would have liked to have learned more about the history of Astana and Kazakhstan. Overall good though. Thanks Damir.

Vehicle - The tour guide , Mr Max is professional, friendly n helpful. Thank you Mr Max for all the assistance. We are quite disappointed with the vehicle used for this city tour as different cars are booked and used for the different destinations for this city tour . It is quite hassle and inconvenient and the cars booked are quite old n small . It will be convenience if the travel agency to provide private transportation for such city tour especially in the cold winter as to avoid any inconvenience . Thank you .

I have good memories of... - I have good memories of interesting places but heavy traffic in the city. I am a bit disappointed to miss the entry Bayterek Tower, National Museum of Kazakhstan and Zeleny Bazar. The guide picked us up at airport 20 mins late. I believe he is no experienced to us because both are profound deaf. I told him to entry the tower but he told me closed. I checked website that it is still open.

Incompetence and dissapointment - My experience with Astana Tours Team was incredibly disappointing and fell far below expectations. Firstly, my guide was an inexperienced teenager who lacked knowledge about the city. Despite promising a tour of multiple landmarks, we only managed to visit three out of the many listed in the itinerary. Additionally, we drove 40 minutes to the Alzhir memorial only to find it closed, as it was a Monday. The guide then tried to seek assistance from management and the manager was unreachable, leaving us stranded and wasting time. Secondly, the high prices charged for the subpar service are unjustifiable. Paying $170 for a poorly executed city tour is unacceptable, especially considering the pay provided to guides. It's appalling to learn that guides receive a mere fraction of the hefty fees charged to customers, which likely contributes to their lack of motivation and engagement. Furthermore, the lack of transparency regarding transportation arrangements is concerning. Instead of providing dedicated vehicles, the company relies on guides to use their personal cars, further highlighting their disregard for customer satisfaction and safety. In conclusion, my experience with Astana Tours Team was marked by incompetence, unreasonably high prices, and dishonesty from management. I strongly advise against using their services and urge others to seek alternative tour operators for a more fulfilling and worthwhile experience in Astana.

Oh well - Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience. It was actually just an escorted taxi ride. However, we did see some of the city's sights.
