Starmazing - We went on a moonless night and were able to see the Milky Way with the naked eye. After a great explanation of what we could see we then used the telescope to see the stars and Saturn with its rings that were not visible to the naked eye. A magical evening was finished off with a photo , and drinks and snacks around an open fire.

Outstanding astronomy program - Our guide was extremely knowledgeable. It was obvious that he loved what he was doing. He was able to answer any questions about the night sky. He also had top-notch equipment and the site of observation was perfect. The only downside is it was cold and don’t think he controls the weather.

Would do this all the time if I could! - It was amazing to learn about and see the constellations and Saturn with the naked eye and through the telescope. The light snacks afterwards were a very nice touch and so delicious. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly as well and they were very communicative. 10/10 recommend this activity for any kind of traveler.

Fantastic. - The Astronomical tour was fantastic! Rodrigo Zúñiga gave a lesson on astronomy, star identification, all with a lot of didactics and education. At the end of the tour we also had fire, drinks and snack to appreciate the stars and everything else. The agency, ChileTours also 100% professional, honest and competent.

Imperversible - That's inevitable. The guide Rodrigo Zuniga is a scholar of the Atacama sky. The tour is a lesson on the sky, with observations and explanations to the naked eye and with a telescope. At the end we light a fire, there is wine, hot chocolate, some snacks, and we take professional photos

A must experience in Atacama! - Amazing experience guided by a really enthusiastic astronomer who brought everyone into a new universe under the sky. Not only one learned so much about our universe, Rodrigo made the entire experience accessible, meaningful, and extremely enjoyable. One of our highlights in Atacama for sure. A MUST if your stay coincides with a clear night sky.

For those who love stars - For those who love stars, it is a must-see tour! As one of the cleanest skies in the world, the astronomical tour is complete. Vc leaves in a Van and meets with a group in a deserted place, about 15km away from San Pedro, with, more or less, 20 people. They provide chairs that lie for you to attend a rich talk about the stars, nebulae, the solar system... stunning and everything in the dark. Immediately after, in the penumbra, a coffee with accompanying is served, while the photographer is taking photos of you with the Milky Way in the background :)). All this, at a temperature of negative thermal sensation! It is extremely cold in winter (July). If you're not dressed up to the height, don't enjoy the ride! After the snack, we began to observe the stars with telescopes. It was amazing! My tour lasted about 3 hours, starting at 20:00.
