CAIRO / ASWAN

Temple of Philae - On the first day, we will pick you up at the Aswan airport at the time you specify. We can also arrange pickups from a hotel, the train station, or any other preferred location. After picking you up, we will take you to the motor ship (the boats that sail the Nile), where your cruise begins. Our first stop will be the Temple of Philae. A perfect welcome!

In the afternoon, enjoy a ride on a Felucca along the Nile River (traditional Egyptian sailboats) from where we can take in a panoramic view of the Agha Khan Mausoleum, Elephantine Island, and the Botanical Garden. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

ASWAN / KOM OMBO / EDFU

Kom Ombo Temple - (Full Board) Option to take an optional excursion to the Temples of Abu Simbel. We will sail to Kom Ombo and visit the Kom Ombo Temple, the only one dedicated to two deities: the crocodile-headed god Sobek and the falcon-headed god Haroeris. We will then sail towards Edfu. Overnight stay on board. The optional excursion to the Abu Simbel Temples can be done on this day OR the previous day, depending on the schedule of the domestic CAI – ASW flight on the previous day and the navigation schedule from Aswan to Kom Ombo on this day.

EDFU / ESNA / LUXOR

Temple of Horus - (Full board). Arrival in Edfu and a visit to the Edfu Temple dedicated to the god Horus. We will then sail towards Esna, cross the Esna Lock, and continue sailing towards Luxor. Overnight stay on board.

LUXOR / CAIRO

Temple of Karnak - (Breakfast) and disembarkation. We will visit the West Bank in Luxor, including the Necropolis of Thebes, the Valley of the Kings, the Funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut known as Deir el Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon, we will visit the East Bank in Luxor, including the Temples of Luxor and Karnak. Transfer to Luxor International Airport for a domestic flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, transfer to the hotel and accommodation. An individual supplement may apply.
