I feel rich in the knowledge Ahmed shared with us and learned so much from this visit ... Ahmed was very patient with all our queries and very organized... i would recommend him to my friends and family who will visit Egypt in the near future

Memorable Family Cruise - We recently went on a 4-day cruise aboard the King of Thebes and had an amazing time. The pick-up was on time, and the information provided was clear. The crew was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room were better than expected in size and comfort. The food was delicious throughout the trip. Our guide, Ahmed Shawky Ali, was very knowledgeable and helpful. As noted in many reviews, tickets to the temples are not included, but our guide assisted us in booking them at $105 per person and $57 for children or students (up to 30 years old). Note: If you're a student, make sure your student ID is up to date and remember to bring it along. The time allocated for temple visits was sufficient to appreciate the history and take pictures. Keep in mind that the sites can be crowded, but there are still plenty of opportunities to find quiet spots for photos.

Best experience - An Amazing Aswan & Luxor Cruise Experience with Ahmed Shawky Ali!" Our Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor was truly unforgettable, and much of that is thanks to our fantastic guide, Ahmed Shawky Ali. Ahmed joined us on this part of our journey and made every moment along the way enriching and memorable. His deep knowledge of the temples and sites we visited, like Philae Temple, Kom Ombo, Edfu, and the stunning Valley of the Kings, was truly remarkable. Ahmed brought the history of ancient Egypt to life with his engaging storytelling and fascinating insights, helping us connect with the significance of each location. Ahmed’s professionalism and warm personality stood out throughout the trip. He was always patient, attentive to our needs, and willing to answer every question we had. His ability to explain complex historical details in an engaging and easy-to-understand way made the entire experience even more enjoyable. If you’re planning a cruise in Egypt, having Ahmed as your guide will elevate the journey into an unforgettable adventure. Thank you, Ahmed, for making our Aswan and Luxor experience one we’ll cherish forever!

A Nile Cruise Adventure... - A Nile Cruise Adventure with the Legendary Mohamed Gobran Let me tell you, this wasn’t just a 4-day, 3-night cruise; it was a beautiful journey, and the crown jewel of it all was the one and only Mohamed Gobran, the best Egyptian tour guide to ever grace the Nile! From the moment Mohamed greeted us with his megawatt smile and endless enthusiasm, it was clear this trip would be unforgettable. His encyclopedic knowledge of Egypt’s history paired with his razor-sharp wit had us simultaneously awed and in stitches the entire time. He didn’t just guide us through the temples he brought them to life, weaving tales that made Ramses II sound like your cheeky uncle and Nefertari your favorite aunt. The man is a magician when it comes to logistics. Abu Simbel at sunrise? Seamless. A hot air balloon ride over Luxor? Smooth as a falafel spread. He even managed to make a camel ride look dignified (well, for some of us). If organizing was an Olympic sport, Mohamed would take gold every time. The cruise itself? Luxurious. The food? Mouthwatering. The views? Postcard-perfect. But it was Mohamed who truly made this experience. I mean, where else can you find a guide who can recite hieroglyphics, negotiate local bazaars like a pro. So, if you’re considering this trip, just do it. And if you’re lucky enough to have Mohamed Gobran as your guide, brace yourself for the best Egyptian adventure of your life. You’ll laugh, you’ll learn. Cheers

Amazing guide, itinerary could be better - Ahmed Shawky Ali was impeccable as a guide. Excelent explanations, something surprisingly rare in Egypt as many of the guides gave contradictory explanations to the museum in Cairo and any good sourced documentation. The plan was packed so the fact that everything was extremely timely was crucial, everything went according to plan, mostly thanks to Ahmed. Never waited for tickets and generally we were amongst the first groups everywhere. The free time was also quite generous. For me the negative side of the trip was that the first day was quite lacking, and there was another tour not on the plan that was one of the worse I've ever taken. We had a Nubian 'guide' who essentially just pointed at guesthouses as told us their names, and we went for a Nubian 'meal' which was some bread honey and cheese in a completely run down Jamaican themed cafe. This was an entire waste of 25 euros the only redeeming point was the boat trip on the Nile to get there. Second point that I find a waste of time in such a packed schedule was a 'spices' workshop and another workshop which are basically a waste of time of people trying to sell you overpriced products. All in all impeccable guide, so so itinerary with a lot of wasted potential.

Nice experience with some lows. - The price if the extra costs, drinks on the boat not included, forced amount of tips to be paid before the action happens, tip for the guide afterwards in an envelope with your room number (so not ananymous). These were the negative experiences. The trio itself is magnificent but very tiring. You see all highlightsin short timeframe. The trips to perfume shop, herbs shop and alabaster factory should be optional. For le BIG waste of time!
