Well worth our time and money - As 2 female travellers, we felt totally safe with our guide, Mohamed Gobran. He knows a lot about the history and was great at answering all our questions. Everything was well-organized, and we got the day's schedule the night before, so we had plenty of time to get ready. The entrance fee is $105 per person, and tips are $17 each, which you pay at the start of the trip (either in cash or by card). This made the whole experience super smooth and stress-free. Doing a trip in Egypt on your own could be overwhelming, especially if you don’t know any locals, so this cruise was a really convenient option. Meals and transfers were included, and the rooms were nice. The staff were friendly and tried to make the experience fun. The buffet had a good variety, the AC worked well, and the sun deck lives up to its name - warm during the day, calm at night and breezy always. Our guide gave us tips on where to buy what for the best rates and quality, which made our lives easier. We definitely recommend this cruise with Mohamed Gobran as your guide. You'll have a great time!

Great way to see Egypt - Amazing trip, saw so many sights over the four days, and got to see many of the smaller temples as well. Highlights included the balloon ride over the West Bank and touring some of the temples by moonlight in the evening. Would 100% recommend our tour guide Talaat Abdo, he had a huge amount of knowledge of all the sites and of ancient Egypt and was really entertaining, especially on the early starts!

Talaat guide Tour - My experience in Egypt wouldn’t have been the same without our incredible guide Talaat. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcome and ensured everything went smoothly. His deep knowledge of Egypt’s history, culture, and ancient sites brought the pyramids, temples, and tombs to life in ways we couldn’t imagine. What really stood out was his passion—every story about the Pharaohs, ancient gods, and the mysteries of the Nile felt like a journey back in time. We felt safe and comfortable throughout, which made the trip even more enjoyable. having a knowledgeable and friendly guide makes all the difference. Highly recommended!" #BestGuideever #Talaat

Cruise along the Nile - beautiful! - Our tour guide Ahmed Shawky Ali was very knowledgeable and thoughtful during our whole trip. Sailing on the boat was very pleasant with great views and experiences. We loved the people on board and made very good friends. The boat is a little old but well kept and beds are comfortable. The crew on board is extremely thoughtful and kind. The cooks were very considerate and made sure we ate well. Just note that the trip begins in Aswan and you cannot be picked up in Cairo - we were a little confused about that in the beginning. This cruise is very special and the experiences amazing. We loved it!

Fun experience along the Nile River. - Amazing tour guide and fun experience throughout! Might be worth considering that the times are not as suggested - 4:30, 4:50am starts were the norm - and despite the best efforts of the guide the hardware of the cruise was somewhat old and lacking. Also we were brought to several spices/perfumes shops that were not listed here. Still a solid experience, but may be worth considering another cruise with newer/better rooms.

Heavy itinerary but covering all interesting sites - Visited most interesting sites between Aswan and Luxor. Hot air balloon experience was marvellous. However, Abu Simbel was cancelled and we had two 5am starts. Although I had asked for a specific itinerary to our stay, none was provided.

A horror - No organization. No information for passengers regarding the cruise. They give us our room and after nothing! No information on breakfast, lunch and dinner times. No information on the cruise (departure time, time of visits ..). No voice announcements from the entire cruise. Ghost travel. The Wifi is paid, the food is really not good, like school canteen. On the terrace tiny pool (for max 4 people) and unheated, a Jacuzzi is present but not functional. In the room: TV not functional, bathroom with no VMC system, towels do not dry, when you open the water, it runs from the shower head but also from the bath. Only positive we had a room on the top floor where the bedding was of good quality. Day 1: We pick you up from the hotel to show you around the temple of Filae in a hurry, no time to stroll. Then we drop you off at the boat. Since arrival on the boat more than 24 hours waiting in the room without moving without information. Day 2: We managed to get the information of a departure at 2:30 pm to the temple of Kom Ombo, so the morning is free, still at the dock, the cruise has still not started. At 16:00 we finally move, so we visited Kom Ombo at night and like no time to stroll. The sun setting at 5:15 p.m. the day is completely lost, like the old woman's. Back on the boat at 21:00, meal and quickly in bed because the next visit day 3 is at 5:30 in the morning. Day 3: 5h30 departure to the temple of Edfu by carriage, no other alternative it is mandatory .. no time to stroll again. 8:30 am back on the boat, which resumes at sea and stops at around 12:00 pm all at once around Esna at noon without knowing why and without being able to get off. He leaves at 14:00 then stops further, still no explanation. Day 4: day with a guide who was great but on the other hand we did not see the colossuses of Memnon or the temple of Luxor contrary to what was planned to do time, but on the other hand we had time to be taken to a shop catch tourists where we lost an hour, an hour that could have been used to visit what was planned precisely. Conclusion: Really to flee, extremely disappointed with all this lost time and money in passing, because yes you do not stop paying, all the guides ask for money, for their explanations, for the shuttles .. it is tiring, it is not a cruise. Don't let yourself be trapped by the 5 stars announced because in the end it means nothing at all. For the moment it wasn’t the cruise having fun.
