An Unforgettable Egyptian Cruise with an Amazing Guide! - It was a very fascinating trip! Sayed, our guide, made the experience even more enjoyable with his excellent time management and insightful explanations about Egypt's historical sites. We traveled to this region at a perfect time of the year, and I highly recommend this cruise to everyone. A private cruise tour with Sayed is undoubtedly one of the most unforgettable memories of Egypt. He was incredibly friendly and warm, always there to assist us. A big thanks to him and the agency for their precise coordination and excellent execution!

River cruise on the Nile - Our Nile River cruise experience was amazing. Are contact Muhammad was helpful and quick to respond. Our English speaking egyptologist guide Hassan was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and kind. His relaxed, fun style of teaching you about ancient Egypt made the trip unforgettable. I am very appreciative to Hassan, and the tour company for providing me with memories that will last a lifetime.

Great time from Aswan to Luxor - We had a great time touring Aswan, Abu Simbel, Kom-Ombo, Edfu, and Luxor with Mo, our private guide. He made sure we had a well-coordinated itinerary with a few local artisan experiences in between. Mo explained Egyptian history at every location with added visuals like pictures and videos that were much appreciated. He answered our questions in great detail. In addition, as one of our group members has hearing loss, Mo’s speech volume and pace were clear and easy to understand for them. On another note, the cruise experience was also nice. The rooms and installations were a bit outdated, but they were comfortable and clean. The ship had all the essentials, such as towels, shampoo, body wash, and A/C. The cruise staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food at the buffet was also good. They had many food selections for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you are looking for a cruise to visit all these places in Egypt, I highly recommend this cruise and having a private guide. They will ensure you have transportation for your group and a great time at each location.

Top notch 5-star experience, Best of 20+ Tour Companies We Contacted - Top notch 5-star experience and one of the best tour guides. We contacted 20+ tour companies and Mohammad was the *best without any doubt* and he was above & beyond from initial contact. Mohammad has army of tour managers and best guide. They knows ins and outs and takes you to best spots. We had a 4 day/3 nights nile cruise that includes Abu Simbel, Aswan, Ballon Ride, Luxor, Tutenkhamen and he never compromised on anything. The cruise Le Fayan was best. I can't tell you more about how much he cares about best experience than cutting corners and price. This is the *best tour company* you can trust. **Thank you Mohammad for everything*

Best trip ever - Our cruise from Aswan to Luxorxwas the highlight of our trip. Our guide, Kero, was knowledgeable, fun, and made our trip memorable. His patience and kindness as well as his love for Egypt was evident in every experience during our trip. If we ever return to Egypt, we want Kero to be part of our adventure again.

Trip of a lifetime! - I cannot recommend going to Egypt highly enough, and specifically this cruise! We paid a bit extra for a private guide and that was VERY worth it. Our guide, Sayed, was knowledgeable, funny, and knew just about everyone anywhere we went. If you can request him as your guide, I’d highly recommend. The boat we were on, Le Fayan II, was basically a 5 star hotel that just happened to be on a boat. We went past some other boats on the Nile that were…less nice looking. I’m not sure how to avoid those. The staff on our boat were all lovely and friendly, very welcoming. IMPORTANT NOTE: every day on the cruise there are very early morning excursions. 3:30 am wake up for Abu Simbel, 5 am wake up for another temple, and 4 am wake up for the hot air balloon ride in Luxor. These are all optional, but I cannot stress highly enough: they are so worth it. Force yourself out of bed no matter how tired you are, especially for the hot air balloon morning!

Great experience - We had amazing time during the whole trip and I can’t imagine better way of traveling from Aswan to Luxor and see all the beautiful ancient temples. Ship itself was silent, rooms were clean and everything was well organized. I was surprised how good and diverse was food served for lunch and dinner. Staff was friendly, warm and helpful. During tours themselves, Ahmed Salama was guiding us. He was extremely well organised, always there where we needed him to be and explaining history of Egypt in charming and interesting way. He adjusted every time we needed more time in the temple or wanted to sweep through some of the sites faster to save time. Wherever we went we had a feeling we are being taken care of and for that I want to thank Salama for the whole time he was with us. Thanks!

Overall good experience with amazing tour guide - Everyone we met (staff on the cruise, the porters, drivers, etc) were all sincerely doing their best to accommodate our needs. While the ship was a bit older, the facilities were all decent and coordination flawless. A special shout out to our private tour guide, Mahmoud, who was incredible in his knowledge of Egyptian history, culture, and seamless communication and organization throughout our entire trip, which made a huge difference in our experience. He gave us advice on tipping etiquette in every situation so we know what is expected by the service provider. He was flexible in trying to make our trip more comfortable based on our arrival and departure schedule. Comparing to other tour guides we had in Cairo for the later part of the trip, who all tried to rip us off and skipped sights in order to take us to expensive souvenir shops where they get commissions, Mahmoud was by far the best-highly recommended and we would certainly be looking him up if we come back to Egypt-we told him that he is the god of tour guides :)

But why aren’t the boats better distributed on the Nile between Luxor and Aswan? - I do not recommend any cruises on the Aswan-Luxor axis (or the other way around) as almost all the boats leave almost on the same day, move in an Indian line and are all stuck at the same time at the Esna lock (6 hours waiting...); pour out at the same time their thousands of visitors to Edfu and Kom Ombo so that these two temples are overcrowded at certain times and practically empty during busy times. At the dock, it will be necessary to keep the hangings of your cabin closed or be in the cabin of the neighboring boat. Much prefer a cruise on Lake Nasser, in the Aswan-Abu Simbel direction and drive the Luxor-Aswan route with a visit to the temples in the middle of the day. You will enjoy it much more.
