• Temple of Philae - A representative will collect guests from their hotel in Aswan for an enriching half-day tour of the captivating city. The tour includes a visit to the magnificent Philae Temple, dedicated to Goddess Isis, the principal deity of the island. Originally situated near the vast First Cataract of the Nile in Upper Egypt, Philae was the site of an Egyptian temple complex. Since the construction of the Aswan Low Dam in 1902, the area has experienced various levels of flooding. To preserve the temple complex, it was dismantled and relocated to Agilkia Island as part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign project, safeguarding it and other complexes before the Aswan High Dam was completed in 1970. After the tour, guests will be returned to their hotel.
