The guide was very good. - This time, I enjoyed seeing many ruins of Egypt, the guide Mr. Mohammad kindly told me that the night cruise was easy with transportation, food, sightseeing all. He wanted to come to Egypt again.

Excellent everything was the best decision and the best things I did in my 20 days in Egypt. The staff was EXCELLENT - Excellent if you are in doubt as it happened to me and my friend, do not hesitate and book it. It was the best investment we could have made, beautiful cabin, people who work there excellent very friendly, very attentive, very respectful we were afraid before we arrived because we were just two women, but it was certainly the best investment. From the super attentive agency every day they wrote to me on whatsapp to let us know what time they picked us up the next day, name and phone of our day and asking me how everything was. Prepare to tour absolutely all the temples, we ended up a little tired as we started the day many times at 3 or 4 am but it was worth it because we knew everything. Nasser was the best guide that could have touched us where we visited the last two days of luxury, certainly treated us like his family until one day we had no more Egyptian pounds paid us what they charge you to go to the bathroom (between 10 and 15 pounds in the temples). Only an improvement that has not to do with the cruise but with the hot air balloon would be good if the last day where the excursion takes place we are picked up earlier to see the sunrise. However everything was beautiful

Perfect way to discover Egypt in 4 days! - Very great way to discover Egypt and its most famous monuments! Ahmed was a great guide, very friendly and with lots of knowledge about the Pharaohs and ancient Egyptian culture. The cruise was clean, the food was good, and the cruise members very nice!

An unforgettable cruise - We had an unforgettable cruise, everything went as planned or better. The local agency was very efficient and our contact was very available and kind. Her name is Bassant and she's been checking in every day. What about our guide Mohamed wafa, he was extraordinary. I rarely crossed paths with such a passionate, professional guide, he was outstanding in every respect. The Alexandra Cruse team was very caring and exceptionally kind. This package is very value for money. I highly recommend this experience.

Good to see the major sites, but dining experience could have been better - This cruise was a great way to see all the temples and sites. It’s quite a lot to do in a few days but it was still amazing! The ship is nice too though it doesn’t move from the dock in Aswan until late on the second day. That was fine for me though. The reason I didn’t give the tour five stars is because when my friends and I were answering a survey of the dining room, a friend gave an honest review, which wasn’t five stars or 10/10 (maybe 4 stars). The dining hall manager (I assume) confronted her about it and pressured her to change her review. That left a really bad taste in my mouth and they should never happen again. The food was also just ok. Other than that, it was a really good trip

Overall, a good experience, but some things can be improved… - Overall, this experience was pretty good! They were very thorough in making sure you saw every temple in Aswan and Luxor. Our tour guide Muhammad was great! He made sure we learned about every temple and museum. I appreciate his helpfulness and tour experience. The temples here very historical and interesting. The restaurant staff were amazing. Goaf remembered that I liked a dessert and at every meal, he would bring it to me plated before I even made my plate for dinner. I loved it! He was sooo nice! The spa was nice as well. I enjoyed the massaged and the package that they offered. The only things I did not like: 1. Bassett kept asking us for a copy of our passports, which was not needed. 2. In the spa, on day 2 they double booked me with a complete stranger. I did not like that because it wasn’t communicated to me in advance and to put to strangers in one room for a massage was not helpful. 3. They required you to put your room number on your feedback for the restaurant survey and for your tip. I did not like that because one of my friends gave the restaurant survey an 8 out of 10. The captain reviewed our feedback and called out her room number and asked why did she give them an 8 instead of a 9 or 10. It was intimidating for them to do that and forced her to change it. Also, they wanted me to add my room number of my donation envelop and I did not like that. I did not want my contribution to be tied to my room number. 4. The amount of haggling was a little unbearable. As soon as we got off the boat the haggling began. It was overwhelming because although we said no, they followed us until we got to the next place. The haggling were by men and little boys. The ran next to our transportation begging for money. It didn’t not ease up until we were in Luxor. It was more bearable there. 5. You have to pay for every museum/temple that you visit. I totally it came up to roughly $75 USD and majority of them required you to use a card, which was nice. You also have to tip to use the restrooms in some of the temples.

Disappointing Tour Experience and rushed Visits - Overall, it was okay, but there are a few points I’d like to highlight: 1. Limited Time at Temples Each temple visit allowed only 1 to 1.5 hours, but our actual visit time was just 45 minutes since the tour guide spent 30 minutes explaining the history. This wasn’t nearly enough time to explore these vast sites. Just walking to the entrance alone took at least 10-15 minutes. I felt rushed at each temple and had to constantly check the time. Additionally, while our time at the temples was limited, the tour guide still made time to take us to souvenir shops, which felt frustrating and unnecessary. This aspect is a real downside for anyone considering a guided tour. 2. Horse and Carriage in Edfu The itinerary included a horse and carriage ride in Edfu, but at the last minute, the tour guide informed us that he had booked a van instead. I had looked forward to the horse and carriage experience, and he changed the plan without consulting us. Other groups were still able to take the horse carriage, so I don’t understand why he changed our itinerary. It felt as though this change was made simply to cut costs. 3. Hot Air Balloon in Luxor This was the most disappointing part of the tour. The night before, the guide informed us that our departure for the hot air balloon ride would be at 5:50 a.m., while I had expected to depart at 4:30 a.m. like other groups, to catch the sunrise. I later discovered that we had been booked on the second round, meaning we would miss the sunrise. If I had been given the option, I would have gladly paid extra for the first round. Having traveled all the way from Malaysia, this was supposed to be the highlight of my trip, and missing the sunrise was incredibly disappointing. For anyone who values having enough time at temples or experiencing the sunrise on the first hot air balloon, I would not recommend this tour.

The cruise with too many regrets - I took this cruise from 10/13 to 10/16. The cruise included wonderful tours and served delicious food. But I give it 3 points for the following reasons. The maximum 1 point I can give to our last day, the Luxor guide, because he encouraged us to give up 2 of 4 temples, the Luxor Temple and the Temple of Hatshepsut. Later I found the Luxor Temple is one of the best temples and the Temple of Hatshepsut is also great. Also, we didn't have a guide to lead us visiting the Temple of Kom Ombo on the third morning. But I must give a full 5 to Michael, the tour guide on the first and second day. Michael is experienced, knowledgeable, and speaks fluent and understandable English. I'd like to give a 5 to the cruise programs and foods. And also a 5 to our Edfu Temple guide.
