Rich history wrapped in modern comfort - Day one was packed with cultural highlights. Philae Temple was incredibly well-preserved, and the boat ride to reach it gave us amazing views. Our guide gave us space to wander and take in the details ourselves. At the High Dam, we learned how it changed Egypt’s future. The cruise ship was surprisingly modern with cozy rooms. I spent the evening sipping tea on the deck, watching the sunset. There’s something magical about floating down the Nile surrounded by so much history. I didn’t expect to enjoy the boat as much as the temples, but both had their charmBooking through Cairo was smooth and reassuring.

Perfect blend of history and timing - Mohamed, our guide, brought the ancient stories to life, especially during our visit to Karnak. I appreciated how he made even complex parts of Egyptian mythology easy to understand. We were a group of colleagues traveling together for a break after a work conference. The temples were grand, but what stuck with me was how well everything was timed. No waiting around, no rushing. The company, Cairo, clearly knows how to plan a smooth journey. I loved that we had time to take photos, explore on our own, and still stay on schedule. I’d happily recommend this cruise for small work groups looking for a mix of culture and relaxation.

Average - This is not the cruise you would expect according to what this company sold to us. The cruise was supposed to be 4 days and 3 nights; we checked in at 14.00 and we were told the cruise is starting, so we were expecting to sail that same night. In the contrary, we stayed at the same sport on the port until the next day. We were picked up by a taxi at 4.00 am and traveled 3 and a half hours visiting Abu Simbel, which we only had two hours to visit. After that, we returned to the ship and sailed at 14.00. The check in was on the 9th of April at 14.00 and we were asked to check out on the 12th at 9.00am; which is even less that 3 days;. To be exact, it was 67 hours on the boat from which 40 hours we remained tied in a harbor. The food was below average and most options remained the same. Although it looks nice on paper, there are some amenities that you expect for 700 euros a person. Just like a snack bar or small market on the boat. Furthermore, the view from the cabin is solely when we are traveling. Every night we park on other ships and can hear very many noises from the generators, (can’t get sleep) and there is no view.
