The Aswan High Dam, one of the world’s largest embankment dams, was constructed across the Nile in Aswan, Egypt, between 1960 and 1970. At its completion, it was the tallest earthen dam in the world, surpassing the Chatuge Dam in the United States.

Temple of Philae - Continue your tour with a visit to the Graeco-Roman Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, accessible by a small motorboat. Return to your cruise for dinner, a folkloric show, and an overnight stay.

Abu Simbel Temples and Navigation to Kom Ombo Temple

Abu Simbel Temple Complex - At around 4:30 AM, your guide will pick you up for a trip to Abu Simbel (in a small group). Arrive around 8 AM to explore the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel, renowned for their unique design, built for King Ramesses II and his beloved Queen Nefertari. Return to the cruise by noon for lunch and sail towards Kom Ombo city.

Temple of Kom Ombo - Arrive in Kom Ombo to visit the dual temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Return to the cruise for dinner and continue sailing to Edfu for an overnight stay.

Edfu Temple and Arrival in Luxor to Visit Luxor Temple

Temple of Horus - After breakfast, enjoy a horse carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, considered the most complete and best-preserved of all Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise and relax on deck, taking in the unique landscape and beautiful scenery of the Nile River while sailing to Luxor. Cross the Esna Lock. Lunch on board and afternoon tea on the sundeck.

Luxor Temple - Late in the afternoon, arrive at your cruise dock and transfer to visit Luxor Temple on the East Bank of Luxor, showcasing ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features. Dinner on board, followed by a belly dancing show. Overnight in Luxor. Note: If you arrive at the Luxor dock by 3:00 or 3:30 PM, there is an opportunity to visit both Karnak and Luxor Temples.
