Excellent Nile Cruise - We enjoyed a fabulous Nile Cruise. From Luxor to Aswan. Boat was lovely, staff polite and helpful. Our every need was catered for. The tour stops at Temples were interesting and informative, made the more so by our guide Ocean, who’s knowledge and passion for his work ensures the best experience for clients. The temple of Abu Simble was the highlight of our trip. I’m sure we’ll be doing a repeat tour sometime in the future.

Nile cruise + pyramid tour with guides - Domestic flights and Nile cruise was perfectly organised by Mustafa of tours to Egypt. He booked what we asked and communications with him to discuss details was always very easy. Our English speaking guide said was very well prepared and kind. After our return in Cairo,Mustafa also organised with short notice one day tour to Giza and Saqqara, with driver and a guide. Again all perfectly planned and in line with our requests. Thanks to him and Tour to Egypt for making our holidays in Egypt very special and unforgettable. I would recommend this agency with no reserve.

The sun the river and the ancient sites - We travelled for a week on the ship Jaz Crown Jubilee, on a journey arranged by Memphis Tours, a highly professional Egyptian tour operator. The cruise is an excellent way to discover the sites of ancient Egyptian civilization, while enjoying the comforts of a luxury vessel, with a beautiful sun deck and swimming pool, magnificent meals, fairly large panoramic cabins with a glass wall facing the river, and a very serviceable and numerous staff. The views of the green riverside with the desert hills on the background under the perpetually shining sun were memorable. Our ten-year-old daughter was the only child on board, which I found quite suprising, because the trip is really suitable for families, as long as the children are old and curious enough to appreciate the visits to the marvellous sites of ancient Upper Egypt.

Wonderful Nile River Cruise - The Solaris 2 Nile River ship was very good. The cabins were large and well maintained. The food was good. Over all the entire staff was friendly and helpful. We started at Luxor and sailed to Aswan and back again. The guide on the boat was good.

Bucket list experience - We went on a 7 night cruise to see the ancient ruins of the egyptian nile on the MS viking premier from 24feb to 2nd march 2020. The boat is smaller than alot but it helped create a more friendly group of tourists who became friends that week. I don't believe this would of happened on a larger vessel. We did the full excursion package and had the most intelligent informative guide called Ahmed. He had a degree in ancient egyptology, and his enthusiasm and deep love for his subject was refreshing and so informative, without feeling like a lecture. He involved us in explaining complex stories and relationships of past gods and pharaohs which made it alot of fun and easier to understand. Nothing was too much for him and he was there for us to chat to anytime during our week, not just during the excursions. He gave us helpful advice on persistent sellers and even taught us funny phrases to say in Arabic to let them know we were not interested. 'Fil mish mish' earned us quite a few laughs from sellers and also perhaps acknowledgment that we had been advised of their tactics and tricks for a sale. Ahmed thank you Team Rameses appreciated your hard work. And funny stories. The food on the boat was lovely and they tried to change it up but also keep it good for a wide range of tastes. The staff were friendly and helpful but a couple of waiters hinted the compulsarory tips charge for ALL on board did not get handed down to them. I feel it was a ploy by some staff to gain extra tips as well as the ones shared out from the tip charge each person paid on arrival. It was an experience I shall treasure, yes the boat was a little tired in its decor but it was clean and good fun. A definite bucket list holiday and experience.

Monaco boat - Rooms ok, you should think about cleaning the double curtains. Friendly staff, decent food, too bad the morning orange juices are coloring with the ton of orange in the country, that's a shame. Paid WiFi, pay for a day and you will have the chance to have it for 8 days and share your connection When the boat is docked, no nice views since the other boats are alongside, When the boat is not sailing, there is a strong smell of diesel, great for sunbathing Swimming pool oops paddling pool very very cold fortunately the shower is there Happy Holidays.

MS Monaco - Run away - It is necessary to distinguish the destination itself from the service boats which offer cruises. Regarding the destination, even if the Nile is very polluted and the Egyptians constantly harass you, it remains a beautiful trip. The Valley of the Kings is magnificent, the temples and even the atmosphere of the street are worth it. Concerning the MS Monaco, our 5* boat, run away! It's a factory boat like there are so many others on the Nile. The rooms are OK but of no interest, since the boats are stuck together. When you open the curtains you have a great view of the boat next door. The worst is the food. 24 tourists out of a group of 28 people, that says it all. It's bad and it ruins the trip.

FAILED TO DELIVER WHAT WAS PROMISED - Tours to Egypt advertised a five-star cruise and confirmed by email that we would be booked on the Radamis II, Semiramis II, or Princess Sara. A few days before our trip was to commence, the tour operator contacted us via phone text and offered us an upgrade to the Movenpick Hamess for $250.00/person. We declined the upgrade and, when we arrived in Aswan, found that we had been booked on the Grand Princess. The Grand Princess was certainly not a five-star vessel and I would consider it a bit of a stretch to even describe it as a 4-star vessel. The public areas were, perhaps, typical of a 4-star vessel, but our room was in serious need of a facelift. The walls looked dirty, the drapes hung loose from the drapery rod at one end, and the safe was dysfunctional. The door could not be locked and the safe wasn’t bolted in place. WiFi was available onboard for a fee, but almost never worked. We succeeded in sending one short email without attachments after four tries. Attempts to send additional emails failed completely. Worst of all, the cruise did not follow the advertised itinerary. The vessel didn’t leave Aswan in time to reach the promised destinations and we reached Luxor too late to tour the temples of Karnak and/or Luxor. These temples were the anticipated highlights of our trip to Egypt! Fortunately, we had scheduled a rest day at the Luxor Hilton Spa and Resort following our cruise and were therefore able to visit the aforementioned temples the day after our cruise ended. The tour operator willingly extended our guide services and paid our entrance fee, but by failing to follow the published itinerary, Tours to Egypt stole the day of rest and relaxation we had planned on enjoying prior to our long flights home. I should note that we had inquired about the delay in leaving Aswan and were told that there were no mechanical problems. The Grand Princess was simply scheduled to leave later than the vessels we were told we would be cruising on. The crew aboard the Grand Princess was terrific. The crew members, from the restaurant staff to the cabin boys, were helpful, attentive, and personable. The tour guide provided by the tour operator also deserves special mention. Our guide, Hussein, was knowledgeable, respectful, considerate, and extremely likeable. In closing, the tour operator (i.e., Tours to Egypt) failed to deliver what was promised, but the guide and crew are deserving of a 5-star rating.

Definition of "Glæsileg" translation luxury! - We went on this cruise last April and it was described in an ad by Urval Utsyn a travel company in Iceland as "glæsileg"! To our great disappointment it didn't meet our expectations. The bathroom was puttied away and totally not anything but a 2 star bathroom and the lampshade was spotted all over with black dots and the towels gray white....the food was bland and tasteless! The only positive thing was that the crew members tried their best to work with what they had but as mentioned in a review they want a tip! When we complained about this we were basically told we were the only people who complained and offered around 150$ to shut us up! By Urval útsyn.Positive part was Mahmound who was a great guide!
