Beautiful ride out to Ait Ben Haddou. Berber villages are incredible to see. Well worth the cost of a private trip. - Muhammad was a great guide and helped us with the history of the Berber people. Well worth the time to see. I would skip Atlas Studio and spend more time at the other sites

Long day but worth it! - We booked this private tour for our group of 6. It was a very long drive - it took 4 hours each way. The weather at the start and end of the day was misty and wet. Our driver Yasin did a great job - he drove safely and skill fully along the winding route. We made stops along the route at panoramic points to take pictures. Yasin took some lovely group pictures for us. We stopped briefly at a women’s almond oil cooperative which we enjoyed. We then visited Ait ben Haddou where we met our guide Ali. It was a lovely visit and Ali was a great tour guide. We then stopped for some lunch at a very large very busy restaurant. Our next stop was the film studio where we joined a 45 minute tour run by the studio. We all enjoyed this. After a short visit to view a kasbah we were ready to go home! It was a very long day and Im glad the younger members of our family didn’t come on this tour as I think it would’ve been too long for them, however we enjoyed it and had a memorable day. The views were beautiful and both our driver and the guide in Ait ben Haddou did a great job.

Traversing the Atlas Mountains. - Younis was an excellent driver. He excelled through the high Atlas. We especially enjoyed Ait ben Haddou and appreciate arranging the guide. We highly recommend this excursion through Viator.

Would recommend! - My girlfriend and I had a fantastic trip to Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate. Our driver Mohammed was great, very friendly and although it was a long drive (3+ hours) it didn’t feel that long as the views of the Atlas Mountains along the way are amazing and keep you entertained. There are also many places to stop along the way to take photos and buy souvenirs. Our guide Abdul in Ait Ben Haddou was excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable having been born and raised there. The Atlas studios in Ouarzazate was interesting although if you’re not a film person then you might consider skipping this and spending more time in Ben Haddou. Overall I would definitely recommend this tour, it was one of the highlights of our time in Morocco!

Awesome day-trip! - This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. I booked this tour the day before, received confirmation and a few hours later, the tour agent contacted me via text msg. My driver, Simon, was punctual, a good driver and very professional. communication was not an issue, Simon made his best effort to communicate with me in English. It was a long drive, approx. 4 1/5 hours each way, so perhaps, next time I would probably stay in Ouarzazate to explore more of the area. However, if you decide or need to return to Marrakesh, I highly recommend this tour.

Great visit outside of Marrakech - This was a great way to not only see Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate, but it's also a great way to see the Atlas Mountains and the Berber villages around it. Our guide Said drove for the 2 of us the entire day. Nonetheless, he was cheerful and informative and a skillful driver. He also spoke perfect English. He shared information on Moroccan culture and was fully knowledgeable of all the sights that we visited. This trip was a great way to see the Moroccan countryside outside Marrakech. I highly recommend this tour.

More like a transfer than a tour during the drive time. - This was more like a transfer, rather than a tour. Our guide was very nice, but we had difficulty understanding him and he had difficulty understanding us. Not much was said during the long drive time. The included guide at Ait ben Haddou was very good. We told him that we were not interested in the invisible ink demonstration, so we moved on. Studios were interesting, but they too have their own guide. This is what made the entire experience an average rating. I debated about going with the group tour, but thought this tour would provide more information and pickup. Pickup was at a closest gate, not at the riad and little was said during the drive. The group tour probably would have been the better choice.
