Go for the red bus! - Seems more frequent than the others and there’s a page you can see live where the buses are so you can time your visit , we stopped at Olympic stadium for 10mins and then got the next bus

Hop on hop off bus tour of Athens and Piraeus. - It was wonderful to hop on the bus and go around to Athens and and Piraues, both beautiful cities with such rich history. The audio guide was very detailed. Thank you! Only other feedback is that the stops weren't very clear in the tour description. Luckily we asked the hotel for some direction and were happy that the bus left from in front of it.

Easy Way to See Athens! - Great way to get around and see a lot of the sites in Athens! Great feature that you’re able to track the busses! Only wish more of the buses had roofs on the top level since it was so hot.

Great option - A great way to get around Athens and see the many historic sites and beautiful architecture. We did 2 lines which worked out great to get downtown from the port after our cruise.

Need a better system. - It was the most confusing means of transportation I’ve ever used. There were numbered parts of the map that didn’t go in order. We kept getting ina ccurate information from the employees telling us where to get on an off and ended up going around in circles. Not fun when it’s 100 degrees outside and you have to sit on the uncovered upper level because the downstairs w AC is full. Three stars rather than 1 or 2 because the driver tried to be helpful but didn’t seem to understand our questions. On a local bus that would be fine. But when it’s advertised as ‘English-speaking driver’ for tourists, it’s frustrating. Oh- and we weren’t the only ones this happened to.

Not agsin - No air conditioning, little narration, long waits. Not comparable to other hop on hop off excursions in other world cities.

Too confusing! - Routes are non-sensical and circular. Could never predict what route you would get, especially the A line Buses were full and often you had to disembark only to wait for three more to get back on as the route posted wasn’t the one they were doing. not like some of the other city hop on hop off buses. Wouldn’t use in Athens again. Used in Milan and its was good.

Some good, some terrible! - The bus fundamentally worked as it should but there were things that were not well thought out. The decals plastered on the windows impede your ability to see out of the windows on a sightseeing tour! Also, we were returning to the cruise terminal. We were at Terminal C and the first stop was Terminal A. The driver did not announce the Terminals and we got off at the first. We waited over half a hour for another bus which did not come so we began walking. The walk to our Terminal had us walking on a pedestrian walkway on the highway!! Did I mention it was 42 degrees Celsius, which is 107.6 degrees Fahrenheit?. A scorcher of a day!!! When I got back to the ship I learned that other buses did announce the Terminals and the ships docked at those terminals. That would have been so helpful

Don’t use if you’re a cruise passenger! - Do not take this bus if you arrive by cruise ship. Take an Uber , it’s faster and cheaper. You do not have enough time to tour Athens as a cruise passenger in one day. Trust me. It took us an hour by this bus to get from cruise terminal and only 20 minutes back by Uber. It was a huge waste of money.
