2 day trip to Meteora - The 2 days were very well organised. We saw a lot. The driver and guide were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Having the opportunity to see more of the countryside was good. The visit to Delphi was definitely worth doing. Less so for the short stop to Thermoplyae - not really much to see. Meteora was amazing and needs to be seen to be believed. It was awesome.

A great tour! - This two day tour to Delphi and Meteora was incredibly pleasant. Mrs Marianna, our guide, shared Greece’s patrimoine: past and present as well as interesting facts with an undeniable passion and knowledge. She genuinely loves what she does and gives you time to appreciate your surroundings. Having experienced worldwide guides, she is undeniably one of the best. The bus has very comfortable seats with big windows which give on splendid views and the lunch is delicious. Long hours of travel are to be noted and are inevitable but the destinations are worth it to visit. The only things which were disappointing were the hotel’s (Orfeas) food and very slow wifi. Overall, it was a very nice experience which I would absolutely redo and recommend!

Breathtaking sites and an amazing tour guide - The destinations were absolutely breathtaking! Also our driver drove very smoothly and got us to the different places at a good time so we missed the rush of the other your buses. The tour guide- Mariana- was wonderful, very knowledgeable, provided information at the sites and road trip, and shared more interesting facts than the ones in Athen's archeological sites. Everything was properly planned, not just for an amazing tour of the Delphi historic site and the beautiful monasteries at Meteora, but also to take mind blowing pictures along the way and at each of the sites!! Highly recommend this. I will say, though, that the food available at the different places we stopped for lunch, coffee and dinner were not great. Dinner on the first day and breakfast on the second were included, but I felt the lunches and snacks were a bit overpriced and not great. Nonetheless, I still recommend it because the trip was phenomenal. The 3-star hotel that we stayed at also had clean decent rooms.

CHRISTINA STAMOU - the BEST GUIDE!!! - Christina Stamou was our guide for our 2-Day Trip to Delphi and Meteora, and we can confidently say she is the best tour guide we’ve ever had. Having experienced numerous guided tours in the past, Christina truly sets a new standard of excellence. Her efficiency, organization, extensive knowledge, and professionalism are unmatched. What stood out the most was her ability to navigate the crowds, ensuring we could fully enjoy the breathtaking sights of Delphi and Meteora without the usual hustle and bustle. She was attentive and helpful throughout the journey, making the experience seamless and memorable. We highly recommend KeyTours for anyone visiting Greece, and Christina in particular for an exceptional tour experience. If you’re in Athens, make sure to add Delphi and Meteora to your itinerary—they are absolute must-sees!

Outstanding trip to Meteora and Delphi - The most memorable experience was visiting Meteora and seeing the Montestary built on top of the mountains surrounding Meteora. It was a very memorable experience and I was absolutely fascinated by the visual impact of these establishments. I would highly recommend this tour. We stayed in the 4 star hotel, which included a buffet dinner, and thought that it was very good value for the money. The entire trip was excellent and I would highly recommend this 2-day trip to others.

Recommended, well run tour and worthwhile visiting - Christina at Keytours was a fantastic tour guide, host and chaperone. Full of knowledge and gave timely information and stories during our 2 day excursion. Polite, courteous and professional, she was the kind of guide I'd want every where I'd travel with any where in the world. And I've been to many tours. Was a great tour with the right amount of time at Delphi and Meteora monasteries. The hotel we booked was the upgrade and it was worth it, nice and clean, and the buffet dinner and breakfast was decent. Well timed considering you're seeing two destinations that are quite a drive to do yourself. And again, if you get a guide like Christina, it was more than worthwhile.

Meteora is breathtaking but... - The monasteries and views were amazing. Overall, the trip is worth it, particularly, the monasteries. However, not enough time is allotted in Delphi or in Meteora, especially in Delphi. While the museum at Delphia was included, there is no way to be able to explore the ruins of Delphi and get to and through the museum. For that matter, there is not enough time to see the ruins. My wife and I are very mobile and can cover a lot of ground, but we could not make it to the temple of Apollo, and had only about 5-10 minutes of rushed time in the museum. Spending less time for the stops along the way and more time at Delphi would be much better experience. We selected the class A hotel, which was very nice given the price. However, they ran out of several food items at dinner saying they only made one tray of those items. Breakfast had a very large selection. As for the monasteries, we briefly (too much so) stopped on the way to the first monastery to take pictures of the scenic views but there were several other and better viewpoints that other's had stopped at that we did not stop at. There were too many pit-stops on the way back to Athens and it would have been better to stay longer at the monasteries or get back to Athens earlier. Most importantly and a warning to everyone, were not dropped off at our pick-up location and were told that was not an option. The closest drop-off point was twice as far away from our hotel than our pick-up point. This is spite of it saying on the website, "This activity ends back at the meeting point." Obviously that was and is not the case. This was a serious breach of contract which left a very bad impression. Our driver was excellent given the size of the bus and the narrow and winding roads. Our tour guide, Nikos, was entertaining, but he was hard to understand, which is not ideal when trying to learn about these culturally important sites, since English is not his native language. I am glad we went, but the trip could have been much better given the noted items.
