- Acropolis - After meeting your guide start walking up the south slope of the Acropolis where, the Dionysos Theater, the Sanctuary of Asklepios and the Odeon of Herodes , are located. On the way to the top see the Propylaea(entrance), Mars Hill and the temple of Athena Nike. On top of the Acropolis have a close view and get a detailed explanation of the Parthenon and the Erectheion. Finally, enjoy the breathtaking views.
- Acropolis Museum - After the Acropolis, walk with your guide to the Acropolis Museum. Before entering the museum, you will have a look at the remains of an ancient neighbourhood of Athens that lie underneath. In the museum first you will see the models of the Acropolis and ancient Athens and then important finds from the slopes of the Acropolis. Proceed to the first floor to stand in awe before the sculptures of the first Parthenon, built in the 6th century B.C. Observe the traces of colours that still can be discerned on them. Our guides are all certified, and many have professional experience in archaeology or history. You won’t have to worry about standing in line to buy tickets as our guides handle that for you. The tour will be kept at a slow pace, tailored to the needs of our guests and frequent stops for restrooms and water are part of the plan. Finally, because Athens can be quite warm and sunny, especially during summer, our knowledgeable guides know all the cool spots.
- Persons under 25 are entitled to a half price entrance ticket for the Acropolis( they must present an ID at the entrance). For persons under 25 from the EU entrance to the Acropolis is free (they must present an ID at the entrance). Entrance tickets are purchased in cash from guide.

The meeting point is right outside the Acropolis Metro ( Subway) Station, which is located next to the Acropolis Museum. Please be at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to departure time.

Fantastic tour, knowledgeable guides - We had a wonderful experience with our tour. We were able to skip the line for both the Acropolis and the museum, making the most of our time. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and passionate about the subject matter. He wanted to stick around and answer questions as long as we had them. The stories told helped to bring the ancient ruins to life. Really a great experience, would recommend this team to anyone who asks!

Great w teens - Nikos was very knowledgeable but especially good with interacting w our teens who ended up enjoying the three hour tour.
Great combo of professionalism and warmth and humor. You could tell he used to be a teacher and a good one.

A must do tour! - Our second guided tour with this firm, this time with our extended family, we were fortunate to have Nickolas as our guide again (some 4 years after our last tour). His passion and knowledge was amazing, this was an English speaking tour, his english perfect. Plenty of stops for pics too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

A must book - don't just walk up to the acropolis - do it properly - Our second guided tour with this firm, this time with our extended family, we were fortunate to have Nickolas as our guide again (some 4 years later). His passion and knowledge was amazing, this was an English speaking tour, his english perfect. Plenty of stops for pics too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Amazing Acropolis - Our tour guide was amazing and very accomodating. His knowledge was very thorogh. He was able to paint a picture with his words that made the mythology stories very intriguing.

Great tour! - Great tour with Nico (sp?). He is very knowledgeable and made it interesting. Covered a lot of ground at the Acropolis. He gave us breaks when needed and took pictures for us. Excellent speaker

Great tour with a great guide - Our tour guide exceeded our expectations and the tour was great. He paced the tour so we were not engulfed with crowds we would never have enjoyed our Acropolis trip as much without him.

In depth and entertaining small group tour! - Thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Mr Plato. Wanted a small group tour and it ended up being private just for my husband and I. Mr Plato was entertaining and gave great in depth knowledge about the Acropolis, Parthenon, word origins, Gods, and myths as he walked us around. He also showed us great spots for photos and took many of us where it looks like we were the only people there! The second part of the tour was in the Acoropolis museum and he highlighted and explained many of the artifacts for us. A memorable day and a great way to see the sites. Highly recommend.

Acropolis & Acropolis Museum (walking tour December 2022) - Alexa provided an excellent tour with her passion for archeology and her knowledge of history. She was prompt courteous and a wealth of information and always smiling. Great time of year as crowds were minimal.
