Incredible Experience - We were with a small group - Skip the line. Tour guide was very knowledgable and passionate about the history. So much information. Views were spectacular. Only drawback was the meeting place. The signage at the Acropolis is not great. Once we figured out where the line formed, we were able to quickly find our guide.

Exceptional tour with an expert tour guide - The tour was worth every penny. Our tour guide was an archeology graduate and even though we are history buffs, we learnt so much. It was a very small group which made all the difference and we felt this made it more personal. Three hours sounds long but this included about 30 minutes to take your own photos.

Recommend go with guide - I ordered the tour night before by internet. It was very quick reply even it was Sunday night. The guide Ms.Stella was very professional. Very good balance of guiding. We went ancient Agora without guide before was not impressed. I really recommend to visit archeological site with licensed guide.

Talented guide, nice stories - I enjoyed very much our guided tour to Acropolis. Athens walking tours made everything to go smoothly and our guide mrs Artemis Olympidou told us nice stories. Thank you very much. I can highly redommend them.

Skilled guide - Our guide Kimon had all the skills you want in a tour guide. Patient, encouraging questions and inquisitiveness, finding strategic shady spots from which to provide information. If someone asked a question he was careful to repeat it so all could benefit. His tour was carefully themed so by the end of the tour one came away with a unified understanding of the Acropolis area. Wonderful experience.

Excellent tour, very good idea on doing it early in the morning - Very good tour. I was worried as at the meeting point there was a group of more than 30 people, but then they formed three groups of 10 each, this was excellent as we can clearly hear the tour guide. I don't remember her name but she provided all the information and give us enough time to rest and continue climbing to the top. Informative, fun and enjoyable tour, highly recommended

Great Tour! - Was a great idea to go early and beat the bigger crowds and the heat. A fast movign tour, as there was lots to see. Our tour guide Alexia was fantasic and very knowledgeable! Highly recommend. Take the time afterwards to explore further on your own, and it's well worth the hike up to the top of the neighbouring hill (free). Alexia wasn't kidding when she said the views are spectacular!

Great way to tour the Acropolis for novice tourists - Arriving Athens on Wednesday midnight and waking up Thursday early morning for this tour was not a straightforward decision - and yet, it was the best decision to make. If you want to visit and get a good understanding of the Acropolis, early morning is the best time - not too hot, and not flooded with hordes of people! The magnificent remains of the Acropolis speak for themselves, and yet, we found our guide, Ioanna's comments adding to the understanding of time and space, in this seemingly timeless site. Her knowledge is vast, and she shared with us, whenever we had some questions, and pinpointed to the relevant points of interest. This was done without being too "academic" nor too "popular" - we found it perfect to our taste. The following day, when we visited the Acropolis museum, her words gave us context to the exhibits, and put them properly into context of what we've seen the previous day.

Worth every penny! - A guided tour of the Acropolis is must in order to really appreciate it! The information from our guide (Aristotle) really enhanced the experience. We chose the early morning tour when it was still semi-cool and beat most of the crowds. He kept us in the shade whenever possible and was easy to hear without a microphone. Side note: we also loved the meeting point for the tour - the yogurt was delicious!!

Early, side entrance cool way to climb - Our guide was terrific, very knowledgeable & she found large shady spots on the way up to share a lot of interesting info so it was not strenuous at all. It was a big disappointment not to have the Plaka & Anafiotika parts of the tour that we'd reserved months earlier, but the Acropolis part was very satisfying.
