- Prison of Socrates - On the Hill of the Muses, walk along the paths designed by the renowned architect Dimitrios Pikionis. Pause for a few minutes in front of the site known as “Socrates’ Prison” before hiking to the top of the hill to rest under the pine trees.
- Pnyx - Continue towards the hill of Pnyx, the ancient heart of Democracy, and then proceed to the Hill of the Nymphs, passing by the National Observatory, the first research foundation of modern Greece and one of the oldest in Southern Europe.
- Thissio View - Turn back onto the Pedestrian Road Apostlou Pavlou as it descends towards the Thisseio neighborhood, then take the bustling Adrianou street towards Monastiraki Square.
- Monastiraki - Pause to observe a few remnants from the Roman and Ottoman eras before entering the lively alleys of the flea market and Avyssinias Square in the Monastiraki Area, where countless antiques invite passersby on a journey through time.

Fabulous Traveling on the footsteps of the ancients - Thoroughly enjoyed this great tour around the Acropolis Rock and its glorious surroundings. Nancy and Specialty Tours Greece were professional and hospitable like no other experience we had in Greece and we very strongly recommend a tour with this company to whomever visits Athens. Truly interesting and warm talks with our guide, too, who took the extra step of making us feel very welcome in her country. Looking forward to joining another tour with them when I visit Greece next.

The best guided tour ever about historical Athens~! - My family and I took a tour with this greatly organized company. Everything was perfectly set up and our guide, Nancy, probably the best Greece will ever have to tell its story through the ages and make a visitor feel the best greek hospitality. We were ever so happy and enthusiastic to listen to her, be in her company and much more than feel, completely get into the 3000 years of history of the area we had the privilege to explore with her precious guidance. We traveled further after this tour with Specialty Tours and Nancy, but this experience was by far our highlight and we hope every visitor to Greece gets to do the amazing tours with Nancy that Specialty Tours have to offer. Don't miss them!!

An overall fantastic experience of historical Athens - A thoroughly educational tour with a truly knowledgeable guide, who also spoke excellent English and had the best personality for the job. Feeling happy and enriched after exploring the “historical triangle” of Athens, this eternal city that has never been better explained and interpreted. Thank you Specialty Tours!
