Highlights
  • Areopagus - We are starting from the famous place where Saint Denis was baptized by Paul in 51 A.D. This is the well-known Mars Hill at the Acropolis.
  • Roman Agora - One of the Ancient Agoras of Athens, the Roman Forum was the first place Paul visited when he arrived from Peireus Port. From this monument, the Roman Agora, the Judges invited him to go to Areopagus to speak about the 13 God in 51 A.D.
  • Flisvos Marina - An important location where Paul arrived in Greece at Neo Faliro by boat, and where the Mosaic of Paul is located.
  • Corinth Canal - The Isthmus Canal is 6 km long, 80 meters high, 24 meters wide, and 10 meters deep. King George began the excavations in 1882 A.D., employing 5,000 well-paid workers. The canal connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea.
  • Kechries - The ancient harbor where Paul met Priscilla and Aquila making tents by the water. The church here is a significant monument for visitors, where Paul, Priscilla, Aquila, and Phoebe practiced. Paul departed from this port in 53 A.D. to go to Ephesus.
  • Temple of Apollo - The oldest Temple of Apollo in Greece, dedicated to the God of Light and Music, the local god of the Corinthians. Built in 716 B.C., it is the only temple in Greece where the sun shines from all sides.
  • Ancient Corinth (Archaia Korinthos) - The most important part of the tour. The Step of Paul inside Ancient Corinth, where he spoke to the Romans and Corinthians. The Bema.
  • The Diolkos - A 2,700-year-old pathway used to drag boats from the Corinthian Sea to the Aegean Sea and vice versa. Named after a special team, Corinth became the center of the market in Greece.
  • Acrocorinth - The winter palace of Caesar with the Temple of Aphrodite. It is the largest castle in Europe, standing 530 meters high, and once housed 1,000 of the most beautiful women. The 2,500-year-old castle became the palace of King William Villehardouin in 1246 A.D.
  • Church of Saint Demetrios on the Acrocorinth - A Christian church from the 6th century A.D. inside Acrocorinth with an amazing view. All visitors can enter for free.
  • Archaeological Site of Isthmia - The Isthmian Games, less significant than the Olympic Games, were held here. Paul passed through the area when he came to Corinth and said, “You are doing games for glory, that’s good, but we are racing for the glory of our God,” because the games were being held at that time.

Excellent tour following in the Apostlle Paul’s footsteps. Tracing the Bible and tying it to Greek history. - Kostas was a perfect host and guide for our family. Very comfortable riding his Mercedes van, air conditioned and smooth. Our trip included my wife and I, myn15 year old and my 78 yr old mother in law. So he was able to tailor the tour to many age group interests. Kostas was extremely knowledgeable in history and biblical facts. Trust me we had my mother in law with us who was very excited to follow in Paul’s footsteps and check facts. Convenient stops for viewing and getting water. I would highly recommend Kostas and his tours.

An amazing experience - What an amazing experience! Our Tour guide Kostas was absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable. He explained the history and current situation of each stop brilliantly. We re-traced the steps of Paul and it was very enlightening. The vehicle was immaculate, comfortable and well kitted out. We were very comfortable throughout and well looked after. Kostas knew all the locals and we got many gifts from them. Thank you Kostas for a fantastic day out today. We are definitely returning to see more of the sights in Athens and Corinth soon
