Great tour very interesting - Very interesting. Our tour guide Nancy was very informative .We saw a lot . My suggestion is to avoid lunch, any place in Nafplio is better and you will get almost 2 hours in that nice town, instead of mediocre lunch in a hotel.

Brilliant way to visit Athens and see Greece - This was a truly wonderful tour into the Peloponnese region of Greece. I was particularly impressed with the tour guide, Vasiliki, who really brought the sites to life with her astounding knowledge. The trip was well paced, with enough time at each stop and the travelling was made all the better by the comfort of the mini-bus.

Great guide for fantastic locations. - The Guide Dimitria was fantastic and knowledgable. The stops were amazing with plenty of time. Lunch was nice and we sat with other participants and got to know them.

Wonderful day out - Wonderful day out starting with the impressive Corinth Canal. Mycenae was so amazing to see in real life and the theatre of Epidaurus was fantastic. Because it was late in the season we were a small group, and the narration was in English only. We stopped for lunch where some people had booked the three course meal (which looked good), we ordered off the a la carte menu and the food was great. Napflio was a lovely city, though we only had time to walk along the seafront and take pictures.

The Mycenae Archeological site worth for history buffs - Mycenae, Mikines, Archeological Site Our final stop is the archeological site of Mikines, (there are several spellings of this place, am confused, guessing the Greek are as well, haha) Nice slow walk up the mountain, not too bad, less strenuous than the other sites we visited! But it appears that the one and only point of real interest is the Lion Head, beside of course the various remnants of this site, clearly explained in the various tablets/signs well positioned as appropriate! We got our fill of history on Greece on this trip, although I know there are many more to be explored, but just that there is never enough time! But we got a great idea & exposure which is what it was all about! Credit to Greeka.com: The Mycenaean Acropolis in Kolymbithres Paros: The hill overlooking Kolymbithres is the site where remains of the Mycenaean Acropolis are found from the 13th century BC. Parts of the remains were brought to light in 1975 by archaeologist Dimitris Skilardis. #magicalholidays#thetourist #greece #athens #holidaysurprise #mycenae #mikines

Must-do trip if you come to Athens - Great day out seeing Mycenae and Epidaurus. Well organised visit to these World Heritage sites. The guide was great and the coach ride relaxing. Gave a 4 rating as we would have liked to stay longer at Mycenae and maybe have had lunch in the nice seaside town we dropped some guests at rather than the out of town hotel we went to.

Beautiful sites, bad timing - The sites themselves were very very impressive and I was so happy to get to see them. We found the tour bus easily and everything went smoothly. However, the timings didn't work well. The guide made us stand at the entrance to Mycenae for almost half an hour while she explained a lot about the history, and afterwards it didn't leave us with enough time to actually visit all of the site, even though we went as quickly as we could. Lunch was in the basement of a hotel near Nauplia, which was a bit sad, and we only had fifteen minutes to see any of the actual town. The same thing happened in Epidaurus with the guide speaking for far far too long, and preventing us from enjoying the experience of seeing these beautiful places by holding us up in the museum. It could definitely be better timed, as the explanations (although interesting) should not take precedence over the sites themselves.

Not the most informative - The tour guide took us to all of the spots, but honestly the actual information he gave was kind of lackluster. He explanations of the sites were very disorganized, and he didn't give as much detail as I would have expected from a $100 tour. Also, the tour guide could be very rude and said some unkind things about members of our group. If you just want to go to the sites and take a look, this tour isn't bad, but I wouldn't expect much more than that.

Low information - Limited English. Low information. Quick stops. No time to explore sites. Ended w a pottery shop to get a commission from sales. 👎
