Highly recommend the evening walking tour Athens - Athens in the evening tour was delightful. Our English speaking tour guide, Sissy, was knowledgeable and gave us lots of history, as well as hitting a lot of interesting neighborhoods. We wandered back the next day and it was noisy and crowded. The night time walking tour was relaxing in comparison.

Best tour to start your stay in Athens with - Me and my wife were in Athens for a football match between Greece and Scotland, and had a few days in the city. Athens is a city that we have wanted to see for years, but just never had the time (our only visit to Greece had been to Rhodes), and after arriving at lunch time, there was not much in the way of tours for that day, but I felt this one would give us a great introduction to the city. No matter what time of the day you arrive, this should be your first tour in the city, as it is a great introduction to the city and really helps you get your bearings for navigating the city (we did other tours and none really stepped on the same ground as this tour, so perfect for not repeating anything). Unfortunately I have forgot our guides name, but she was a excellent guide who really gave us a great introduction to the city. A lot of ground is covered, and yet you do not stray to far from Plaka and Monastiraki, but really does help you for getting yourself around the city after that (we never got lost at any point during our stay). Some truly fantastic sites to see, and even more stunning at night. All in all, you really should make sure this is the first tour you do in Athens.

Really very satisfied with compliance with everything established in the agreement. punctuality in the transfers, the agents who received us at each of the destinations, the flights, the quality of the contracted hotels and the guided excursions that made our trip pleasant and carefree. A - The guide knew the city and parts of the city that an average traveler would never experience. The guide was punctual, a great listener and very accommodating.

Athens at night walking tour - George our tour guide was so friendly and enthusiastic about the history of Athens. You could tell he loves his job. He also pointed out all the best restaurants to try and what type of food to order at each place. He took us to see the monuments but also in lesser known places to really get a feel for the city! We had a great time with George! He was the best!

Biggest disappointment in Greece! - Maybe they should think about having people who really love what they do, instead of Maria who seems angry. Maybe they should think about rolling with unexpected changes when there’s a protest in town and they can’t get through to pick you up at your hotel. Maybe they shouldn’t call it hotel pick up when they can’t get you at your own hotel. Maybe the taverna/restaurant should space you out so that you’re not having your elbow and your next neighbors food. Maybe they should apologize when they did not honor your request for vegetarian option. It’s Greece! Cold, bland moussaka is not a vegetarian option. Stouffers woujd be better. Maybe they should not treat you like cattle that have come to the trough for their food, and maybe smile or speak to you when they plop an appetizer on your plate. Maybe they shouldn’t have young pretty girls just shaking and calling it traditional Greek dance. Maybe they should refund your money when things don’t go the way they told you they would go. I purchased this as a surprise for my wife and could not be more disappointed. We walked home instead of going with the group, it was the only thing that went awry on our entire three weeks in Greece. Shame on them and on dolphin Hellas for not refunding even part of our money when they couldn’t deliver the tour and not on time.
